    From the moment we entered Muller's Acura Merrillville, I knew we were going to have a GREAT car buying experience! The facility is grand...clean...spacious and inviting. I spoke to a very knowledgeable and warming sales associate, Paul Gottlinger. He was helpful and answered all my questions with confidence. Once we decide to buy an Acura, it will be through Muller Acura & Paul.

    I was looking for 2017 Acrua RDX Base Model, white with beige interior. Muller did not have a white vehicle for 2017. However I was able to drive a 2016 model. The drive was OK. I talked with the manager and sales person but was not able to get a price for 2017 RDX Base. A week later I received a call from Muller of Merrillville asking me if I bought a SUV yet. I noted Know and am still looking. I asked the person who called to give me a price on 2017 RDX Base Model. He said he will get back to me in awhile. I never received a call back giving me a price. I guess it was not important enough top give me the best price.

    We contacted Muller on their website by scrolling through certified pre-owned RDXs and hitting the big red "button" that says "request Internet price." A Peggy, in Internet sales, responded promptly asking if we had questions but offered no "internet price." After asking, Peggy apologized that the red button doesn't mean a different price than what is shown online. We then received an aggressive price on a new RDX from McGrath Acura in Illinois. We forwarded that email from McGrath to Muller and got an email back that Matt would beat that price by $100. We also emailed with and spoke to Rachel, also in internet sales, and planned to make the one hour forty-two minute drive by making an appointment. Larry in sales called to see what time we would arrive. We met Larry and he showed us a FWD RDX. We pulled out the email as did he, and he got the keys to an AWD RDX as quoted. After test driving, we noticed the vehicle came from an Illinois dealership and thus had a front license plate which I did not prefer. So, we looked at other inventory (base models) to see if there was a color we wanted. Larry got Mr. Muller involved to see about offering us an RDX with AcuraWatch for slightly more than we were quoted by their dealership in writing. Mr. Muller wondered if we had ever heard about an "invoice" when buying a car?! He would not honor the price 3 of his employees were involved with offering in writing in emails and texts. When asked if he would reimburse our gas and time (nearly four hours on the road plus two hours wasted in their showroom) he said no. This was a collasal waste of our time and energy. This type of owner not standing behind his sales people is what gives car dealerships a bad name. We will never give our business to Muller. Beware!

    Found the car I wanted on Cars.com and sent them an email. Someone called me within 30 seconds of sending- no exaggerating. Joule, who I believe is in charge of inquiries online, was attentive, responsive and awesome to work with. We essentially got a price negotiated, trade in considered and appointment set up via email and text. All that was left to do was pop into the dealership, give our vehicles the once over and close the deal. Very easy, low pressure and positive experience.

    My husband and I are seniors, we have been to a lot of dealerships in our lives. This is by far the best one ever. From our salesman (Bob Diepan), to the manager Paul Gottlinger, Mike Powell in service (I would like to adopt him), Amy Dance in customer service, and Mr. Muller, they are all so friendly and helpful. The service is also 5 star, we love getting the car washed every time we bring the MDX in for service, they go above and beyond. We moved about an hour away, but would not go anywhere else for service.

    WOW, What a location and staff. Stopped in last Saturday during a big event that I didn't know about. It was crazy crowded and I just wanted to test drive a car. Nice guy brought be around to the RDX I was looking for and we drove it. I was happy and left until today I returned to pick up my new Acura. Nice people and great deal overall. Thank you

    On a late Friday afternoon last October, we were northbound on Interstate 65 in my 2015 Acura TLX SH-AWD. We had just crossed over US 30 and were keeping up with the traffic which was running at about 70 mph. All of a sudden, three or four pieces of scaffolding fell off a construction vehicle that was in a lane to my left and perhaps 30 yards ahead! All the pieces were laying flat but moving diagonally in front of me toward the (right) shoulder. I immediately swerved drastically to the right. (Thank goodness for the SH-AWD!) I thought I had managed to avoid all the scaffolding, but in fact, one clipped the rear driver's side wheel, puncturing the sidewall, and gouging out a piece of the rim. Obviously, the tire went immediately flat. But if it had to happen, it couldn't have happened at a better place! It turns out that we were less than 5 miles from Muller Acura of Merrillville! A quick tow (provided by Acura) and we were there. Even though it was late Friday afternoon, we were greeted warmly by Amy of Customer Service and Michael, Assistant Manager of Service. I cannot adequately convey the expertise and the caring treatment lavished upon out-of-towners in distress dumped on their doorstep just before the weekend. We were pretty shook up by our near miss that could have easily been far more disastrous! Their genuine concern for us and the attention they afforded us were well above and beyond the call of duty! They told us we needed a new rim and, because SH-AWD models have special, color-coordinated rims, they didn't have one in stock. But then they took it upon themselves to take a tire and rim off a new car, exactly like ours, that they had on their lot so we could be on our way. They even took it upon themselves to contact State Farm and get the claim process started. I haven't even mentioned the amenities in Muller Acura. Waiting areas are especially spacious, clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and technologically up-to-date. Even the service bays were clean. You cannot go wrong dealing with Muller Acura of Merrillville!!! We highly recommend them!

    Looking for pre-owned / certified pre-owned with trade-in. Honest negotiation on price. Great deal on extended warranty. Very good on my trade-in value. No hassle delivery. Knowledgeable sales associate (Patty Ratray) Beautiful facility. All in all a positive experience.
