Peterson Jeep Chrysler Dodge is the most dishonest
Peterson Jeep Chrysler Dodge is the most dishonest company that I ever have had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with I traded in a $38,000 car for a vehicle from them that vehicle blew the motor up less than 50 miles after I pulled it off the lot and 20 less than 24 hours they only gave me one option and that was for them to put a new motor in with a warranty, the warranty was never put in my name or registered to that vehicle. Eight days later that motor started going bad they were notified of this. They told me that I needed to put it on a tow truck and get it out to them I would’ve never thought a brand new motor would’ve went as quickly as that. I took it in before the recommended mileage of 6000 miles. It was under five and had a service done on it. It was not brought in with the oil level low nor did I put any oil in it to make it that direction as of today, March 1 they will not honor the warranty. The warranty was bought in-house by Peterson for Peterson and now they’re trying to play all kinds of games with me and I have a vehicle that sitting on the street that’s worth less than $500. They threatened to have it towed to an impound yard if I didn’t remove it from their property when I did have it picked up the person who picked it up found a note on the steering wheel saying that this vehicle has no oil in it do not start so they took it apart. It was running when it got there they put it back together and they did not refill the oil and they said that my battery was dead. I had had it checked in December at auto parts store. My alternator was working fine and there was nothing wrong with my battery. I still believe that Peterson Chrysler Jeep Dodge owes me a refund. They never offered to put me back in my vehicle the next day when the motor blew up on the vehicle that I had purchased, they never offered to put me into a different vehicle. They only gave me the one option. I did not sign any contracts or any paperwork saying that I received such a motor or that any work was done to that motor. There was no paperwork signed whatsoever, except for the purchase of that vehicle that blew up the Carfax later on I checked, said that there was a problem with the heating system. Peterson motors when they found out on the first motor when they took it apart that there was engine coolant in the motor oil, but they response to me was we don’t know what happened to your motor but “it’s toast.

Mike, we apologize for this inconvenience. Unfortunately, we aren't able to honor the warranty on the engine, not due to our purchase of the engine, but due to the lack of maintenance to the vehicle. 18621 miles have been driven since the vehicles last oil change with no proof of oil changes during that time. We made all efforts to help. We apologize for it not going the direction we truly aimed and hoped for.

I took my 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 in for some warranty
I took my 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 in for some warranty repairs and I was immediately introduced to my service tech Nick. He was unfriendly from the get go and acted as though he was in a hurry and wanted nothing to do with me. We discussed the issues that I explained over the phone, which he had typed up and reviewed. I also explained to him that I needed a key fob programmed that I would pay out of pocket. He handed me the paperwork and explained that the cost would not exceed $250, which I signed. I also asked if there would be any additional costs, please notify me first. Nick called me the next day and informed me that the warranty company would only cover the heated sea and that they would need to send a technician to look at it on Thursday, 1/2/25. I was upset, but understood and I asked how much of the $250 I owed. He then stated that I owed $615 and I about fell out of my chair! He informed me that we discussed the cost, which we absolutely do not and that is why I signed the paperwork to not exceed $250. This is absolutely absurd and I will not pay $615. After hearing me out, Nick replied, "I'll see what I can do to get you back under the $250." Are you serious? So are these arbitrary fees/amounts they charge? This individual Nick in service is not honest and Peterson Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is a rip off! Please do not take your vehicle to this place in Nampa Idaho. I do not trust them and will not be returning to this place EVER and I would advise all of you to do the same!!!!!

Peterson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - beware of overfilling on oil changes a week ago, had simple oil change - they overfilled - called them, went back - they said that's how ram trucks oil measures on the dipstick - above the line on the dipstick. Said he checked 3 trucks on lot, same year, the dipstick was high also. no answer when he was asked then why is there a safe/fill line? nothing. Claimed it couldn't be them because auto machine dispenses only so much and experienced tech. They didn't even bother draining the il to normal safe line. That's the way it is, is not a response - that is a blow off. Didnt believe him - so drained oil and it ended up being over a quart and a half over - Not good for engines - Response from the owner a week ago we appreciate the feedback and apologize if there was a mishap with oil level settings.
