Add to the cost you see a $1600 certification fee. I drove almost 2 hours from CT to see this car. I called ahead several times and confirmed the pricing,... fees, etc. I was very explicit that I wanted to know the true price before I got there. No mention of the "certification fee," which is not optional, until I got there. Not at all transparent. Just say the cost. Don't lure people in then hit them with exorbitant extra costs. I can't wait to see the response from the dealer! I don't care! Buyers, just know they have a $1600 certification and dealer prep cost, and add that.

I found a vehicle on cars.com from this facility advertised at a certain price. I spoke with a Jonathan today regarding the vehicle advertised. He indicated... that the vehicle was available and I expressed an interest in pursuing the vehicle. He inquired about financing and I indicated that this would be a cash purchase. He then told me he would have to get back to me regarding the cast purchase price. I waited a couple of hours and did not hear back from Jonathan. I then called back and spoke with him again. He did told me that the cash purchase price of the vehicle would be an additional $5000. He tried to explain that the advertised and it price was a price based on obtaining financing through this dealership. I discussed with him the fact that this stipulation regarding the listed place of the vehicle was certainly not anywhere on the listed advertisement for the vehicle. This clearly appears to me to be a pricing scam by this dealership. Having purchased several vehicles on line over the years this was the first I have ever heard of the listed Price being dependent on the means of purchase.

This place is a scam! I know most dealers have extra fees on top of their cars but this dealers had almost SIX THOUSAND dollars worth of fees tacked on... to the coast of the car, and they are all MANDITORY! The cars were sub par. They tried and tried to convince me why the car I wanted was worth it- but with all fees a 3 year old used car with almost 50k miles from them was just a small amount money less than a brand new version of the same car!! If you are looking at a car from them, add on another 6k and that’s how much it will be. Ridiculous. Scam artists. Stay away!
Emily Please state the facts.You said you will not pay sales tax because you were paying cash.We told you we will not sell you a car if you do not wan...t to pay sales tax and dealer prep.You just got up and stormed out.
After inquiring about Audi S5 and getting replies in email and texts i was called by a girl to come in and see car. I told the person i was busy all week... and weekend and would call Mon. to come in that week. I called at 1:00 pm today Mon. And told the person who answers their phones i wanted to speak to a Kevin Thomas who texted me to come in on fri. She asked what it was for and i told her to come SEE the Audi S5. She then told me he was busy and i told her to have him call me asap about the car since i was driving from 1Hr. Away from them and she took my number and NAME and told me she would have him call me as soon as he could. At that time i started my ride there because i know the belt parkway after a certain time is bad with traffic (and they had my name and number and knew i was now looking to come for a car they KNEW i had wanted) and i did not want sit in traffic and Waste my time. So about 20 mns. into my drive i called again and once again was told he was on the phone or with a client. I SPECIFICALLY told her i was on my way already and for him to call me, she said OK. I got stuck in Horrendous traffic and finally when it cleared up i called AGAIN. At this point i was 5 miles away. Once again she told me he was busy and i told her this is ridiculous and ONLY because i was so close and already into my trip 1hr. i kept going. I finally got there and after walking around looking for help some salesman asked me if HE could help me. I told him my story and SPECIFICALLY asked HIM if car was here and he said he would find out. At that time i did not see it around so said to him please do not tell me the S5 is not here and he said why and i told him the whole story and the phone calls. He asked to to wait and i said ok. Then finally Kevin Thomas apologized to me and said he was with a client and would be with me soon. I at that moment i told him PLEASE tell me now if the S5 is here or not because i will be upset if is not because of my communications with the phone girl. He said not to worry it was IN THE BACK. I at that time was very happy and glad, finally after all that. I at that time went to waiting room and waited about 15 mns. when they came to me and said " I'm sorry the S5 is not here it is at OUR OTHER LOT and could i wait for a WHILE and they would go get it for me. I was so put aback that i said to my self * Wow this is a typical bait and switch * and told the young man that is not a good way to do business and i was so upset that i was leaving. I left and it took me 2 hrs. to get back home. What a waste of my PRECIOUS time. Thank God i had done all my business before i went and had no more appointments. So with that i will tell EVERYONE to be VERY careful of this establishment. Very unprofessional from phone person to receptionist to salesman. BUYER BEWARE.
I am very sympathetic to your situation.You should have made a appointment with us so that we could have the car available and if you had some patienc...e and waited for 30 minuets for us to get the car from our freeport store you would have loved the car but You were in a hurry and wouldn't wait.I would appreciate if you like to make a appointment and come look at the car.It is a one owner vehicle and never been in a accident and comes with 10 yrs 100,000 miles warranty.We will even give you 2 yrs of free maintenance for your inconvenience
