Timely and efficient, this dealership is clean, well organized and very friendly. The lounge area with the large screen TVs help to pass the time.
Can always count on the best work performed. People are knowledgeable and personable. There are less expensive places to go; but, not with a certainty... of the expectation of service and the result.
We stopped in with no appointment to start a process for repairing the passenger side mirror on our 2011 Yukon Denali, which had taken a blow and could... no longer be adjusted. Tim Fichtner, a service advisor, greeted us right away and looked at our problem. He went to the parts department to see what internal parts might be needed to effect a repair and told us that it could cost anywhere between about $140 plus labor or nearly $500 plus labor, depending on what is found when they open it up. We agreed to do whatever was needed to properly repair the mirror assembly. Tim said they could do the repair right away if we didn't mind waiting. In about 30 minutes, Tim told us that they were able to simply put the interior parts back together and our only charge was $60 for labor. The integrity of Tim and this service department is extraordinary and a credit to the GMC name. I am hoping that the right people will see this feedback and ensure the proper recognition of the people involved. Thank you!
You have other options available - find another dealership. I am very disappointed in my sales representative, Aldo. He made several assurances during... my car buying experience and has not followed up on them. Additionally, before coming to see a vehicle listed online, I emailed the dealership to ensure the vehicle was available. I received an email stating that it was. However, when I arrived, the car was not on the lot. I was later told that the owner's daughter had the car. When buying a car, one is also looking to find a dealership one can trust for ongoing services, accessories, etc. Based on my experience with Aldo and South County Buick GMC, they have lost my trust and I would advise anyone reading this review to put their trust in another dealership.
I had a bit of a confusing start ... Several people helping, and had some initial difficulty scheduling a test drive. But eventually I did work with Raul... and Hassan. They were helpful and did their best to get me into a car at the price I wanted. Even though I did not buy in the end - more due to the car and color options.... I was trying to get out of something that I settled for previously, and did not want to feel the same way again. The service was good and I would go back again :)
