This was my 3rd visit to AutoNation Toyota Las Vegas in
This was my 3rd visit to AutoNation Toyota Las Vegas in the past year. The past 2 services went very well, however on this visit I was charged an extra $150 for a seat belt buckle inspection that only received silicone spray for a repair. This was frustrating to me because when I initially spoke with the Service Advisor, I requested and expected the service as part of the normal courtesy inspection. The main reason for my visit was for an annual transmission fluid drain and fill as well as an opportunity to speak with my preferred technician to discuss an engine issue we have been monitoring. The technician did a great job answering my questions, providing really helpful feedback and servicing the transmission. I even showed him the seat belt buckle during our walk around where at that time it was working well, so he said he would just apply some silicone spray. Additionally, I requested assistance to reset the suspension yaw sensor via the technician's OBD2 Computer. Again, I was under the impression this request would be a courtesy since the transmission service cost $226.59. When I drove my vehicle home, I scanned the system again and it showed a need to still reset the suspension yaw sensor. This resulted in me having to make another 45-minute roundtrip to the dealership to have the sensor reprogrammed. Because of the $150 charge for silicone spray, having to complete another 45-minute roundtrip to the dealership and a $40.56 "Misc. Charge" which wasn't explained, I am giving 3/5 stars for this service visit.

My hat is off to the one member of the service liaison who's been there since I bought the Tundra: Michael Bigness. Very efficient, attentive and professional. I also credit the team who changed my oil as scheduled. They kept me no longer than 45 minutes and that's a record among my six other yearly visits.
