By far the worst dealership i have ever been to. They charged me for repairs that did not need to be made. And after 3 failed attempts i had to get my... car toed to austin auto electric. They are crooks.
I was working out of town and my wife went in to Southpoint Dodge in Austin by a Used (2017) Jeep. She decided she would like to purchase the Jeep. She... then had me speak with the salesman and I told him we need a discount so we can install a sound system. He had the sales manager, Jett , call me and I let him know if he can discount 1200 for a sound system that we would purchase the Jeep. He called me back and said 1100 discount off the Internet price and we agreed. He then wrote the deal up at full internet price and added 1050 for some sort of paint protection, solar tint of some sort, and door edge protection,which by the way was a total lie. There is know door edge on the Jeep. As for the paint protection the Jeep is 100% painted with Kevlar which is a Bed liner type paint. I first called the salesman who wouldn’t answer my call and did not return my call. I then called the finance guy and did speak with him. My wife had told him that we do not want any extra as in warranties or paint protection. He admitted that she told him that but blamed it on up front, whatever the xxxx that means. He said he would look into it. Jett called me and lied all the way and said we got the price he told us. Problem is I have all the paperwork and he all out lied. We will take it to our attorney. BOTTOM LINE IS AVOID SOUTHPOINT AND JETT AT ALL COSTS. THE WAY HE WROTE THE DEAL ADDED 2 k To THE BOTTOM LINE.
Jett made it happen even when I thought I wouldn’t qualify! The entire process was super easy and I now have the wheels I needed. He definitely has a repeat... customer!
Bought my 2018 Ram 3500 from them and they ordered my side steps and rubber floor mats. 7 days later they called me to install the side steps but still... they haven't got my floor mats. It took them 3 1/2 hours to complete the installation. They also promised me to get my truck washed and clean but at the end of work they said no. So I left without my floor mats and with a dirty brand new truck. I'll not recommend this dealer to anyone.
I bought a 2014 Honda Accord and they produced 1 key. I asked for the other key, which was actually the primary one (they gave me the spare). The salesman... told me that the service director owned the car and traded it in and that he swore he turned in both keys. So, it was agreed that he would find the other key or have one made for me. This was before I completed the purchase. Its been 3 weeks now since I left there and still no key. I have made NUMEROUS inquiries and would get people's voicemails (including upper management) with no call backs and the salesman I dealt with was always off or on vacation. Then I finally got a hold of someone and they said he quit! So, now its my word that he told me he'd make the key and since he left they are craw fishing away. Even one of the managers involved from the beginning that knows the salesman told me that has backed off and now says that unless I had it in writing he can't do anything. He also verbally agreed. STAY AWAY! DISHONEST and HORRIBLE customer service!
Made appointment for a recall, requested a loaner car. Well WRONG no loners available, as I was assured I would not have a problem. Eder was very apologetic... and turned a negative experience into positive one he asked if I could give him an hour to make repairs on the recall with no loaner car I agreed he kept his word and within 30 minutes he was driving my car to the front and I was ready to go home. Eder went above and beyond to make me happy, best service ever
Drove up from San Antonio to purchase a specific Jeep on the lot. The dealer worked a few items in the deal and I purchased a warranty. I found out later... that the dealer was not even allowed to sell a lifetime warranty and I am still fighting with Jeep for a refund almost a year later. It took me 4 months are arguing with the manager and complaining to Jeep to get my items that I had a IOU slip for! Absolute terrible customer service. Once they sold the vehicle they could not care less about resolving my issues.
Very unprofessional. Robert Cruz did not contact me once to let me know the status of my vehicle or how long he expected the repair to take. I finally... got tired of waiting and went to the service center and demanded answers. I was told that they had the part but that the tech had started working on someone else's car instead of mine. Turned out to be a simple repair that took 4 days, but I feel that had I not shown up at the service center and made a scene, it probably would have taken much longer.
DON'T BE FOOL WHEN THEY TELL YOU THEY KNOW THEIR BAD REPUTATION AND THE ARE CLEAnING HOUSE. I heard this 6 months ago and they are still using this untrue... pitch. Purchased a car from them and I was told it was certified. Yesterday 1/25/18, I took my vehicle in for recall work and was informed that my vehicle was never a certified car and to fix an issue that would be covered would be $800.00. I spoke with service and they asked me to speak with sales. I spoke with Bill Little and he attempted to listen to me but it seemed more like he was signing a song to himself. He assured me that he would call me once he spoke to his boss by 6 p.m. that night. I never heard from him. Contacted Bill this morning and he said he would call me a soon as he was available. Liars and stealers in the sales department. Of course they don't have any records of my vehicle and that's a sad case since I have all on them.
Brought my car in to be service and I meet a salesman at the coffee machine named Chris Jackson. I told him what was going on with my car and even though... he worked in sales he knew exactly what was wrong with my car without me running it the shop. I ended up buying the part and fixing my car myself. Appreciates Chris
