I purchased my vehicle from Shams.

I purchased my vehicle from Shams. He was exceptional. We completed all deal terms via phone messages and calls. When I went to the dealership, the deal was completed in one hour. Shams drove my car home. Also, picked it up and drove it back to my house for a service call. I can't express enough the positive experience it was. Best purchase and service!

I had to have my key fob re-programmed.

I had to have my key fob re-programmed. It was supposed to take two hours. It was completed in fifteen minutes. Antonio understood my time constraints and worked with me. Very pleasantly surprised. Exceptional service.

My experience overall is a 4 because our salesman

My experience overall is a 4 because our salesman dismissed my concern about the sunroof not working. I had been there quite a bit waiting to hear about the final price etc but as I was taking out things from my trade in, I told Shsms several times I didn’t like sunroofs in general and it acts like an overhead heater during our hot days and it didn’t work. He assured me it would eventually close. I felt like Shams was eager for me to leave and felt rushed. I think he was trying to make up for the rather long time it took to buy the car. He is new, very polite with high energy and I think over time his customers will really like him. I like him and would buy again because he listened to me when I brought the car back . The sunroof needs a new part to operate correctly. I suggested that he slow down and really listen to customer questions and comments and to not rush them when they are checking out last details before leaving.

Stay away from Tracy VW.

Stay away from Tracy VW. They deal in bait and switch and outright breaking the law. I was told over the phone they would reduce the price of a car so I could qualify for ev tac credit, but once there they raised the price by $4k with dealer add-ons. This is not allowed based on irs rules. I wasted 4 hours driving there and arguing with them. Car was misrepresented in the ad and had a defective back up camera to boot. General Manager was complicit in the deception. Worst car buying experience in 30 years.

Would go lower than 1 star if possible.

Would go lower than 1 star if possible. Worked with Karim at the dealership who did the initial appraisal on the vehicle I brought over. We are selling as we are in the process of leaving California for another state. Initial offer was lower than expected. Had other dealers speaking with us so I left thinking that was the end of my dealings with them. Day two Karim called back, left a voicemailmessage and said he had a new number to run by me. Called in and the Number offered was acceptable. I had been upfront about having a payoff balance above the price offered and I would make up the difference to payoff the vehicle balance. I was asked by Karim to be at the dealership by COB as it was end of month and they needed to finalize this to help his months numbers. On my way over I connected to ask about a cashiers check for the balance difference and was now told wait a few hours as they had to connect with the bank. I informed them I had the complete payoff balance. I then heard from Ray at the dealership, and this is where the deal agreed on begins to be walked back. Ray starts talking about the busy month end close and having to wait to see if we could do the deal at all. Follow up on Monday. Month end mind you is why Karim was pushing to get the deal done today but now from Ray relooking at numbers their tune changed. I had been back and forth all afternoon working to get there and get this done with figures clearly communicated back and forth. Now according to Ray nothing offered was in writing so there is no agreed deal. To me Words and honesty matter and they have none of that at the basis of their operation. I wouldn’t trust a word from them and get everything in writing if you choose to do business with them at all.

I had the pleasure of being helped by Antonio Vera in the

I had the pleasure of being helped by Antonio Vera in the service department at the Tracy VW Service Department. Not only was my mom and I greeted and welcomed in such a kind way but his help went above and beyond what I’d expected. He made sure that we were set with a ride home while my car was in the process of being serviced. I also received a call back with good news! He made sure that I received warranty on a part that needed replacing, which honestly no one has ever done before. That was such a huge help! He deserves recognition for his kindness, patience, and exceptional interpersonal skills. I feel at peace knowing that my vehicle is running safe and sound.
