    I had a really bad experience at this place. My car, which is under warranty, had a problem with the stereo system. First, the problem was with... Bluetooth devices. I took it to the dealer’s service department and was told that they can’t replicate the problem and therefore can’t fix it. Later the problem expanded to any device that is connected, whether wired or wireless. A series of other problems also developed including the door rattling loudly, a frequent warnings “to put on the passenger seatbelt” (when there is no passenger in the car), and warnings that the hood is open (when it’s locked). I took it again to the shop and was told that indeed there is a recall that affects the stereo system and they will fix it (previously they said that they can’t replicate the problem, now there is a recall). This was on a Monday and I was told that the car will be ready the following day (Tuesday). As I haven't heard from anyone, I called on Wednesday, a day after the estimated delivery day, and was told that the car will be worked on later that day and would be ready the following morning. The following day came and gone. No communication. On Thursday, I made several calls but no one answered the phone. I left a message and when I didn't hear back, I called again. The following day, I called again several times. At the end of the day, I called the front desk and asked to speak to the service manager. I was told that he’s on the phone and that he will call me back. Consistent with my experience, the manager did not call back. I then called the Sales debarment and asked to speak with the general manager. After checking, he told me that I can come and pick up the car. Less than a mile away, I noticed that the stereo system was not fixed and I’m having the same problem. The next day, the door started rattling again. I can say, and without any doubt, that this service is one of the worst, if not the worst, experience that I had with any service department in over 30 years.

    I have bought many land rovers and range rovers over the years. I always went to Hornberg because they were close to my home. I have had so many bad experiences... there that I decided to try a new dealership. I went to Land Rover of South Bay and my experience was fantastic. The sales people were helpful. There was no pressure and I believe they gave me a very fair deal. Now I would never go any where else!

    I had possibly the worst 3-week experience of my life interacting with this dealership. You would think that if you provide the money, they provide the... car, then it would be a simple transaction. I was strung along through multiple people (I’m talking at least six different people were handling my case) and each provided different and even contrasting answers to me during this time. It was tough to get a hold of anyone. It was tough to get any answers out of anyone. I literally just wanted a standard Range Rover Evoque 2020. White exterior. Black interior. Keyless entry and heated seats. Even then, I was willing to work with them and was very responsive. They were not. STRIKE 1: Just getting a handle on any single car was difficult. They have low inventory. They had to transfer from a sister dealership. I was ready to go in and sign within the hour, but I find out that specific VIN # was sold to another customer that same day. Even though we reserved the car for it to be transported. STRIKE 2: Finding a second car. Called and asked me to come into the dealership to sign papers (at least a week after STRIKE 1), but ended up sitting there for FIVE hours. Nothing was signed. No car was provided. STRIKE 3: “Finally” the car was ready again. They go and grab the car from a different lot, but it doesn’t accelerate past 30 miles per hour. Ridiculous. Went to the dealership again, but wasn’t provided a car. STRIKES 4, 5, 6: Wouldn’t meet me at my home to deliver the car. Only would “budge for ONE mile closer to me and away from the dealership.” One text or one phone call a day. No communication what so ever. The worst of them all is BILLY JOE. He doesn’t give a xxxx (rude) and doesn’t respond to anyone. At the end of it all, they tried to deliver to me two more times, still the car didn’t work. I even suggested getting another car, but even though it was online, it was out of inventory… again. Seriously, don’t even deal with this place. I got a car within a day. ONE DAY at another Land Rover dealership. They were very responsive and courteous. Would not recommend. Don’t waste your time, like I did. Superstars throughout the process, who didn’t make it hurt so bad: Drew, David and Syed.
