DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM OCEAN HONDA OF WHITTIER!! Once you purchase the car, they never want to see you again. Whether you have a warranty or not, they charge... you for everything. They will not even look at your car without charging you $400.00.

I went in on 7/16/2019 because of an add on your web site, 2019 Civic for $109 a month on a 3 year lease, with $1,995 down. What a joke! The sales agent... showed me the vehicle, and after that I said I wanted to see some numbers. The agent went back to the manager and after 15 minutes later came back with an additional down of $2,011 for taxes, plus another $920 for a transportation fee. In 2017, I leased a ford truck with a value of $35,000 and the taxes were $387. This dealership is very dishonest, so I would suggest you go somewhere else.

Consumer beware!!!! Make sure when you get a final number for service on a part that cost $17.00 you get the total labor amount rather than being surprised... at the end. I have been a Honda owner for over 30 plus year and my two kids own as well. I picked up my car for a door malfunction that kept unlocking my doors so I went in to have it looked into being repaired. I was surprise to learn it would cost $345.00 including parts n labor. The service person failed to breakdown how much parts and labor. Had I known that labor was 320.00 I would have found someone else to repair. I called to complain that I wasn’t informed about these charges separately I just thought the parts were a lot more. I think this is an outrage that the consumer cannot be better informed about charges as if our money isn’t hard earned. Ocean Honda played on greed and service rep telling me that they know how consumers are in a rush for service. Not me. I have always looked at total cost but took a chance that this place was honest!!! I will never own another Honda. BUYER BEWARE. GET IT IN WRITING BEFORE RUSHING TO A BAD DECISION. I JUST WISH I COULD LEAVE A MINUS -5 for service and service Mgr

Hi, just a message to describe our purchase experience at Ocean Honda. On 12-12-2018 my wife Rose & I purchased a 2019 Honda Accord 2.0 from Ocean Honda... Of Whittier. I’ve purchased many cars in my 67 years but have never been more pleased with the service I received. We were assisted by Everette McMahan jr. & Frank Rocha whose salesmanship, professionalism, & customer care service was excellent. Knowing I was going to check with another dealer Frank stuck by his original quote when I returned to Ocean. We'd been looking at Honda's at several dealers and having trouble making up our mind. Between having the sales persons hover over you while checking... the cars out to asking things like "so what can we do to get you in a new car today?" which made us uncomfortable. Then we went to Ocean Honda and met Eric Alpuche who helped us immensely with out being pushy. He was extremely knowledge about his product and so pleasant to work with. He explained many of the features and how to use them without fogging up our heads with too much information. He also sent us an email about a month after the sale to reach out to us to say we are welcome to come in and do a little refresh on some forgotten instructions. As seniors we welcomed that with all the technology that's out there it's often difficult for us to familiar with the tech stuff. All together Eric as well as others at Ocean Honda Whittier was a good experience.

Ok so I bought my car a year ago from this dealership and have had nothing but problems since. The first car I bought ended up breaking down 2 days after... I bought it. Just completely stalled in the middle of the road. I told them I didn't want to keep this car, for obvious reasons, and even spoke to the general manager who said there was nothing they could do but fix it. It took my boyfriend going in with me to get him to give me another car because apparently a woman can't do things all by herself without a strong man by her side. He even lied to my face and told my boyfriend he told me he would gladly switch my car for another one. So on to my current car. It's a 2014 and the air conditioning just doesn't work right. It only gets cold when I step on the gas. This happened not even a month after I bought this car. So I took it back and told them and they said there was nothing wrong with it. Fast forward a year and I'm STILL having the same problem. It's HOT right now and I have to drive my baby around in the backseat, so it's not very comfortable for him. It took me going there 3 times before they acknowledged something was wrong with it, then wanted to charge me $200 to fix it. Why should I have to pay for something that would've been covered under the warranty a year ago?? I tried contacting them 3 times last week and still haven't gotten a response back. The first couple of times, I was transferred and the phone kept ringing and ringing. Then the girl took my info down and said someone would call me. They haven't. I'm fed up with this place and fed up with their customer service. I also brought my car in because it was making a rattling noise when I would step on the gas or make a left turn. They said it was the brakes and charged me over $200 to fix them. Guess what?? My car is still making that noise... Do yourself a favor, and avoid this place.

Had a great experience with both Tony Roman and Lenny Roman. They were both really helpful and made the buying experience very good . I would highly recommend.... Ocean Honda of Whittier to anyone wanting to by a Honda product.
