I wouldn't touch this dealership when purchasing a...

I wouldn't touch this dealership when purchasing a vehicle AT ALL. I called to make sure that the Denali was still on the lot and I was told yes. Fast forward, we came that evening and finally sat down to talk numbers. Apparently, Herbert forgot to mention that all their GMC 1500 was price 5k over the MSRP. If I had known this we wouldn't drive 40 miles and on top of that they tried to low ball us on our trade-in. They also tried to slide $1,695 for some paint protection without us knowing. STAY AWAY!!!


Customer service at King GMC is extremely poor from...

Customer service at King GMC is extremely poor from service technician all the way up to management. Every receipt states if you are not satisfied, to speak to the service manager, however neither he or the general manager cares to make you a satisfied customer. Truly unbelievable.


Racist dealership

Went to view a truck, placed an application on the truck before they closed. Next day got approved , informed them of the time I was coming, when I arrived they took the truck and hid it in the back claiming something happened to it. They sold it to a Caucasian customer. This car dealership is RACIST!!!!

Bobby, thank you for your review and feedback. Currently the truck market is extremely limited, and people are looking nation wide for vehicles they normally could get at their local dealer. We can assure you the reason why the truck was sold was because we never take deposits for highly sought after vehicles, or any vehicle in that matter. This place is a JOKE!

I stopped by this dealership 2 times ! Yes 2 times and I did NOT BUY ANYTHING and I will tell you why. My first visit, I drove inside the lot just a casual drive by to see what you guys had an available what caught my eye was the Yukon Denali your dealership had for sale. I got chased down, yes CHASED down by one of the employees who ran behind my car to stop me to talk. I pulled out the lot to get back on 355 and he stopped me as soon as I turned to go on the road. It turned me off immediately, why are people sprinting to stop me? I can walk in when I am ready. My second time coming I came with my husband, we wanted to check out the car and talk to a sales rep hopefully walk out with the vehicle. Again, someone is sprinting behind me for no apparent reason. I didn't stop, mainly I didn't realize it was an employee, the attire wasn't like other employees. (That was also another reason why I didn't stop the first time). Anyways, I parked and wanted to talk to my husband, the same employee comes knocking on my car window to talk. He started asking about what are we looking for, while he was talking, I could not get over his attire, hat/beanie on, headphones with music plugged in while talking to me, casual t-shirt, a oversized hoodie. He seemed fairly young and he is talking to us with a slight attitude because I was just looking around? He did not come off as a sales rep! I completely understand sales jobs, but THIS IS NOT THE WAY to treat a customer. I am sorry but you guys have lost my business

That is unacceptable and every employee should be wearing correct attire. For the chasing down, we are extremely sorry about that. We know that can be very intimidating to our clients and it is a big turn off when looking for a good dealership to work with. We appreciate the feedback and we have notified our sales director to ensure this never happens again.


Not happy

I purchased a Certified 2017 GMC Yukon in July of 2020. The process was fine in the purchase, but it went downhill from there. I wanted my tags transferred from my current vehicle (not a trade in) as they are specialty tags. They assured me that this was not a problem. After several calls, texts, and emails, which I had to initiate I was issued a new pair of tags in January by mail. Keep in mind that I am still paying insurance on a car I do not own to keep my specialty tags valid. It was escalated to the General Manager who no longer returns my calls or texts. Oh, and by the way they still contact me to activate Sirius and Onstar so they can get credit for the sales. COVID or not this is unacceptable, as of February 11, 2021!

We understand your frustration and we are trying to come up with the best possible solution. Due to COVID the DMV is backed up which c ould cause some issues with your tags. Regardless, our service was unacceptable and we have notified our GM and our financial office. Hopefully we can come to a solution and put this behind us. We appreciate your business and we hope to see you again and make things right!


Customer Service no longer

Again, thank you for the reply. I negotiated a free car wash for life with my vehicle purchase. Unfortunately, your management has decided to no longer honor that commitment due to the outsourcing of your car wash service. Not right!

After twelve excellent years of service to me as their...

After twelve excellent years of service to me as their customer, King has reneged on its commitment regarding my Yukon Denali purchase. Under new leadership, profitability trumps customer service now. I no longer recommend King for your new car purchase and no longer refer folks to them since their best salesman has left as well.


Used car shopping

Found a car that didn't expect to get. Was a 2014 Mitsubishi outlander which had only 1 owner and good mileage , nice ride. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
