I have been using the service department at Trotter in ElDorado even before it was Trotter. My experiences have been consistently professional and proficient.... The service department improved significantly when it became Trotter and Jeremy, the service manager is dedicated to maintain and continually improve the proficiency. He is straight forward and a man of integrity. As with all auto service departments there will are potential issues but none that this service department will not work with the customer to resolve at the highest standard.
Entire staff very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to make me feel welcome, met my needs, and keep my purchase within my budget.

DO NOT USE TROTTER!!! I have NEVER in my life been treated like we have with Trotter. Do NOT USE THEM. I cannot express that enough. If it allowed negative... stars it would hit every single one of them. Especially the Service Department, and do NOT deal at all with Marcus. They have had our Jeep for 10 1/2 WEEKS (Sept 10-today)! AND it still isn’t fixed. We live 1 1/2 hours away, so a 3 hour trip 4 different times bc they said it was fixed. They also left it OUTSIDE for 6 WEEKS with BOTH front windows DOWN!! When they said it was ready the first time we opened the door and there was MILDEW/MOLD growing in the floorboards!! It smelled absolutely HORRIBLE AND STILL DOES. That was 4 weeks ago after being told by Marcus again and again it would be detailed. NOPE!! We hadn’t had ANY major issues with it until the alternator went out. THAT is why it was towed there originally (Sept 20) I was in Eldorado when it went out on me. It sat OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN AND HEAT with both windows DOWN, VERY thin plastic with holes all in it “supposedly covering the windows”, for 6 WEEKS before they even changed the alternator. THEN we had to buy a new battery that cost us 250.00 on top of that, which the one that was in it perfectly fine before it was towed there. We go to leave and the brake lights won’t turn off. Go back inside and they said it was another part. They said they replaced it and it’s been 4 weeks that this part was replaced and we have been back 3 different times now and the brake lights ARE STILL STUCK ON WHEN ITS CRANKED, which they would know if they ACTUALLY just looked at the car one time, like we have been telling them EVERY SINGLE TIME we go to get it! YET the last time we were there (before thanksgiving) Marcus and another technician was LAUGHING at myself and my husband when we were telling and showing them that the brake lights WERE STILL STUCK ON. This was the 3rd TIME WE HAD TOLD MARCUS HIMSELF WHAT WAS WRONG. Yet he can laugh at us and make snide comments about us when my husband was cranking the car to show him?? He has done NOTHING but lie to us and avoid us. I am SO SICK of TROTTER!! And do NOT expect ANY call backs from them about anything. Bc i promise you you are the one who will have to call them to get any status of your vehicle. They never once offered a rental or a loaner. NOTHING. We live an HOUR AND A HALF AWAY. So it’s a 3- 31/2 HR trip by the time we get home with NO CAR not to mention we have our toddler with us. Not an apology or anything at all. I have never in my life been treated with this much disrespect, absolute ignorance and disdain in my life. We have been nice, have never gotten bad upset or yelled but i am done with that after today. It just shows me they DO NOT care at all about Customers, Customer Service, or even have enough respect for a customers vehicle to put it INSIDE the shop bc the windows won’t roll up!! DO NOT USE TROTTER. At all. For anything. Bc you will be HIGHLY disappointed.
This is the worst experience ive ever had with a dealership service repair, needed my motor replaced after water damage and they kept it for a month and... a half and returned it to me filthy afyer spending $9000, they would not answer my calls and were rude, i will never go back i bought my car here from Jeremy Harris excellent sales man which they fired and i have no desire to ever step foot in their door again
I got a used truck and the trans.whent out .and they traded it.and gave me a better truck..without any trouble. They are ok in my book
