Entire dealership is dishonest
Be careful with these guys. The dishonesty from the service dept comes from the GM Nate. Nate says one thing and does another. Said he would pick up my car for repair but never did. All he was really interested in was selling me a different car. Once I said I wasn’t interested, he was done with me. Doesn’t return calls, emails or messages. Service dept is all over the place too. One guy says parts need to be ordered, next guy says their stocked. I’d try Lexus in Brookfield. Those guys are much better
What a difference six years make.
What a difference six years make. Back in 2016, we had a pretty bad sales experience with this dealership while we were considering a Lexus ES. But it turns out that they have had a complete turnover of management, and the sales manager and sales person that we had problems with before are now gone. This year brought us back in search of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle option - the Lexus NX. What a difference. Kyle Armstrong was very helpful, enthusiastic, but not "pushy" at all. Of course, one can't find a NX 450h+ anywhere, or even a 2022 NX to test drive. But he brought in his wife's 2022 NX 300 so we could check out the interior, seating and infotainment system - went the extra mile. And later we decided to test drive a not entirely comparable 2021 NX 300 to get a feel for what it might be like to drive an SUV (we have only owned sedans to date.) and Kyle was able to accommodate that request. Kyle followed up every time, without being intrusive or a pest. In the end, the lead time for these vehicles (more than a year) was a sticking point, at least for now, and the SUV isn't quite what we want in a vehicle, I guess.

I had a very disappointing experience buying a used Tesla
I had a very disappointing experience buying a used Tesla at Lexus of Madison. First, they need to be more upfront about the conditions of their used cars. I was driving 2.5 hours to purchase this car, so it's not like I could just pop in to take a look. Scratches and the fact that it had a protective film that is slightly peeling should have been mentioned, especially when I point blank asked Anthony, (my sales person), if there was anything else I should know about the car. I even pointed out what I thought were little chips along the Frunk during my in person inspection, which Anthony only told me after I signed all the paperwork and wrote the check, that he didn't think they were chips but that the protective coating that the previous owner installed was peeling. He didn't think to mention this when I was pointing out what I thought were chips? Seems a little deceitful to me. However, the worst part was NOT having the Tesla charged up enough to get me back home. Lexus of Madison had the car for over 48 hours before the pickup time so they had plenty of time, even with a slow charger to put adequate miles on it to get me home. Their solution was to take me to the Tesla dealer down the street and have them help me set up my Tesla account so I could super charge it myself. That was very frustrating and inexcusable. After such a poor experience, I repeatedly told Anthony how disappointed I was, and yet they sent emails and texts thanking me for the opportunity to serve me? Just a form letter that didn't apologize for the poor service? Very unimpressed! I expected a lot more from a Lexus dealership. So a word of warning to anyone who isn't a local customer thinking about buying a used car here... DON'T!

Hi Nate, Since I purchased this car from Lexus of Madison less than two weeks ago, you have all of my contact info: phone number & email address, so if you want to talk to me you don't have to post it online, just pick up the phone or email me. I received both texts & emails after the purchase thanking me for the chance to serve me, but when I replied back about how dissatisfied I was with that service, there was no response. I thought the days of car dealerships being less than upfront were behind us. When Anthony gave me a quote for my trade in, he insisted that Lexus of Madison would have to repair a dent by the gas tank cover, which would be costly and replace the tires since they were the original tires on my 2016 Nissan Rogue, hence the low ball offer. Then I see my car for sale on your website with old tires and the scratch clearly visible . You maybe spent $20 to replace the windshield wipers and fill the tires with nitrogen. According to The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) reports that the average gross profit for a used car is $2,337. You're really going to ruin the curve when you sell my car for $5,600.00 more than what you paid for it. Ann Schmidt

Superior service. All I expect from Lexus and more. Days after purchasing a 2018 ES350 on Nov. 22, the radio/nav/media died. Had to purchase it elsewhere bc inventory is so tight. I took it to Lexus of Madison for diagnosis bc our family purchased last two Lexuses there. They immediately recognized, then diagnosed and confirmed the problem. They have ordered replacement part to repair it, all under warranty. They even replaced my license plate frames at my request. Extra care, expertise, luxury quality personnel. Lucas/service dept.

Best experience ever buying a new car
This dealership is fast and efficient. Joe F was patient and was able to get me 4K more for my trade then any other dealership. We drove 3 hours to get the car. It was ready and the paperwork literally took less then 30 minutes. It was the fastest experience I have ever had with a dealership. Thank you Lexus in Madison
