Cyia was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Cyia was extremely helpful and pleasant. I ended up buying elsewhere at a dealership that was closer to me. It is not a reflection of anything the dealer did or didn't do. I spoke with Cyia and thanked him. He was very accepting and cordial.

Avoid CarMax!

This location sucks! All the negative reviews are accurate. If you reach out to CarMax, expect to talk to a different person every-time. Most of the people you speak with on the phone aren't even at this location! I had a car transferred to this location. It took forever with no updates. I reached out and was told the reason it was taking so long was because it needed some repairs. I asked what repairs but they could not tell me. I was told to call back the following day at 12:01pm. When I asked why that specific time, the agent had no idea. When the car finally was ready, CarMax reached out and asked if I was interested in the express check out. I said yes. I was then told someone would follow up. When I spoke with Joe, he said he was too busy to do the express checkout but I could come in the following day and do the regular process which would take a couple of hours. I reached back out to the South Broadway location, explaining the situation, asking if someone else could help. I never heard back. I reached back out again on Monday. The consultant could not explain why Joe refused to do the express check out but offered to do it herself. I spent hours while at work doing the express check out by phone including CarMax running a credit check, uploading documentation, sending a selfie, etc. I reached back out to confirm if the car was going to be ready and I was told the consultant had only scheduled a test drive. The agent told me the manager, Mike would call me. I received a call from another consultant named Dylan, not Mike. I then had to go through the entire process again, giving the same information again. I was then told CarMax needed to run my credit again because of multiple errors on their part. Running your credit multiple times negatively impacts your credit score! If purchasing a car is this complicated, I cannot imagine what it must be like if you have some sort of issue with your car, warranty issues, returns, etc.

I responded to an online ad for a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder,

I responded to an online ad for a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder, at noon on August 16, 2022 and was contacted by George Jara, purportedly a sales agent for CarMax, 5850 South Broadway, Littleton, CO 80121. We discussed a trade-in for my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe in exchange of a purchase of the 2020 Pathfinder. Through Mr. Jara I scheduled a time that afternoon to have the Santa Fe appraised by CarMax. Mr. Jara texted me and asked if I would "like to reserve for 72 hours the 2020 NIssan Pathfinder SL, Stk#22776899 located in Loveland, CO.?" I replied by text, "Yes." Mr. Jara replied by text, "Okay thanks." I kept my appointment for appraisal of my Santa Fe, that afternoon. At 4:00 p.m. that afternoon, Mr. Jara texted, "David, I'll be calling you in few minutes. All the best.!! George Jara - CarMax" and also texted me a link to the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SL, Stk#22776899. At 4:10 pm, I was contacted by Michaela, who purported to be Mr. Jara's assistant; she offered to help me with the prospective car purchase. To further that purchase, she took a financing application from my wife and myself, in the course of which we disclosed SSNs, dates of birth, and we authorized the submission of the application to CarMax Auto Finance, all the while understanding that the subject vehicle was being held for us, pending conclusion of the transaction, either a closing of the sale or rejection of terms offered. Michaela called back, at 7:30 p.m., informing me that the subject 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SL, Stk#22776899 had been sold to an in-store customer. Apologies were profuse, but of course an in-store customer had to be given priority, despite the promised 72-hour hold (7 1/2 hours of which had expired) and that we had, in reliance upon that hold, we had submitted an over-the-phone loan application, with all its disclosures of identity information. Bad Servicde

Went to CarMax to look for a used car for my son. We found one we wanted to test drive but I didn't have the correct insurance paperwork. Told the salesman at 7:55pm that I lived 15 minutes away, so would drive home and come back. He said 'great'. Got back at 8:31pm (they close at 9pm) and the head of sales Ian informed me that they don't do test drives after 8:30! I was 1 minute late so asked if I could drive around the lot as nobody had informed me of that rule. He responded "no". He was not apologetic for the miscommunication and his demeaner was "tough xxxx". Terrible customer service.

Reserved a car. They sold it from under me!

I had worked with CarMax to have a car transferred into Denver from St. Louis, with full preparation to buy the second it got here. The first sales associate I worked with, Shane Verville, was fantastic. However, he is part-time and was not available when I finalized the transfer, so he passed me over to someone else to try and help me get my car asap. (I was without a car for a month and rely on it to commute to work everyday). The second sales associate, Zack Dane, did NOT call to notify me when it had gotten into Denver and was ready for me. He did NOT reply or respond via either email or phone. I tried multiple times. I had to call CarMax Littleton and ask. They told me my car was ready and I could come in the next day to finalize the purchase. The next morning, when I tried AGAIN to get in touch with my designated sales associate to make an appointment to come in and complete the sale asap, he was "with a customer" and couldn't come to the phone. However, I was then told my record had been deleted and my car was now reserved for another customer in a different location, to be transferred out that day. I finally got Zack on the phone and said he would try to help me resolved the solution and would call me back asap. He AGAIN did NOT call me back. I had to go in in person to find out what was happening. I was the told nothing could be done. The 7-day hold CarMax promise was NOT honored and I lost the car I had been waiting one full MONTH to get. The only "help" I received was to restart the whole process all over again. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere and will not be working with CarMax ever again. Would not recommend and fully intend to leave this same review in as many places as possible to let people know CarMax's promises, guarantees and policies mean nothing. CarMax in Littleton, CO was the branch to make the mistake when they internally somehow deleted my record, resulting in this mess. And yet, I was the one to suffer the consequences with no help or offer of compensation from CarMax. I'd leave zero stars if that was an option. (FYI, went to Carvana next and they helped me find my new car, transfer it in and set everything up for me in about a week! Would highly recommend Carvana! They even delivered right to my front door for free!)

7-Day No hassle return is real.

I returned the car within 7-days after purchase and the process was fast, smooth, professional, and everything they advertised it would be. They just checked out the condition of the car, and said that I would have my down payment returned in roughly a week by mail.

I know how everybody always runs to write a review when it comes to anything going wrong! I think it’s equally as important to let people know when you have excellent service. I bought a 2014 Q 50 from Morgan yesterday and it was absolutely a seamless transaction.... The first time with visit in a dealer that has the hassle free attitude and fortitude, this was the first time that it was actually exercise correctly ! Morgan thank you for the care and time that you put in on my quest !!!! Kindest, AS You rock!66
