Disappointing, I went to shop for a used car after my father recommended them to me. I checked out the vehicle and then used my OBD2 Code Reader on the... Vehicle. 2 Pending Codes showed up meaning they will or maybe an issue in the future. I informed the Salesman that if he can get the codeword checked out, I'm willing to purchase the vehicle. He said no, its as is. Why would I buy a vehicle with pending trouble codes? Instead he tried to show me even more expensive vehicles out of my budget. Inside there's a sign saying 160 point Inspection on each used car. Don't fall for it.
I am sorry for your shopping experience in March. Obviously we should have been better at explaining the computer codes. We do not clear any codes in ...history or pending no matter how long they have been stored. That would be hiding which we don't do. That's actually like wiping out a hard drive on the computer. If in the future there is any related problems you need to have the history to compare. These were not hard codes and not problematic enough to activate the check engine light. This vehicle passed the emissions test which it would not if there were any recent code problems. This particular vehicle had every recommended service in history performed as required 114k, 110k, 105k 100k. 95k 90k and so on. The 160 point inspection is from our Toyota Certified display in the showroom. This particular vehicle had too many miles to qualify for that program. Thank you for your review and this should help us to improve in the future.

After driving over an hour to get to the dealership, after getting conformation the vehicle was in stock and that I was on my way, it was mysteriously... sold. They were willing to find me another one, but it would cost a lot more. If I was willing to take what was on the showroom it still wasn't for the price I was quoted.
