Worst car dealership experience ever, and that is saying a lot since I am over 50! Took my car in for routine maintenance and when I received my car back... every light on dashboard was on and I was told I needed a 1400 repair. There were no lights on when I took it in. They told me they were not responsible or liable and basically I had to pay them to fix it! Methinks not! Customer service beyond bad, treated me like an idiot and everyone was dismissive and downright unpleasant. NEVER EVER go there! I have been to many other Honda Dealers in Southern California and they were all great so it was kind of shocking to be treated so badly.
We own three Hondas and will never buy anything else. The service department, no matter the city I am in, is beyond superb. Just left this dealership after... being very well taken care of by Justin Shores, Service Advisor. I am visiting my daughter who attends UCSB and her driving in a safe vehicle is very important to my peace of mind. The bumper on the Honda Accord she drives had become loose from the piece above and we wanted to fix it before it became a huge problem. Like just dropping on the freeway and creating a mess. Justin dropped everything he was doing, rescrewed the parts together, and we were on our way within 3 minutes. Seamless. And he referred me to a body shop who gave me an excellent quote should the problem return. Service with a smile! I find these crummy reviews below hard to believe. I have never had anything but a stellar experience from the Honda dealerships who have taken good care of me and our family cars. Thank you Justin for your time today. Been taking my 2003 Honda Civic to Santa Barbara Honda for service for several years. Great service department and excellent work always done on the car.... The one downside to this dealership is the facilities- they are aging and show several years of built-up wear... Not a deal breaker, but something worth thinking about.
