Wed July 17, 2018, I brought my 2012 Captiva in for an oil change, tire rotation, windshield wipers change & the rear wiper check because it stopped... working, air conditioner service, along with recall notice. The adviser suggested that if I didn't have an issue with the air conditioner, it's best to leave all as it came from the factory - I thanked him and said okay. He also suggested that new wipers could be done less expensive by means other than the dealer - I thanked him and told him that I had no way to reach anything to change the wipers. They didn't get done. He did tell me that the service dept was pretty backed up. So, I let it go. I drove about 2 blocks when the "service tire pressure system" light came on, so I went right back to Motor City. I also told the adviser that it seemed to be pulling to the left when braking. He took it immediately to the back. When finished, he told me that the person with tire rotation had not connected something in the tire that reads the pressure (?) he said he drove it and didn't feel any pulling at all. I let it go. I had no occasion to drive my car for several days and when I did, the battery light came on - the first time I could get an appointment, the very next week, 7/24, I took it back. Now, there is no receipt in my hand that my car went back twice after that initial repair. I could tell you of my interaction with the service scheduler and the adviser when I had to take it back again! Further, because of several mishaps, I checked the back wiper and it was still not working. The adviser told me it had to go to another department for that and everything is really backed up. I had called for the July 17 appointment to do the service on my car. I have never had to make repeat visits to get the job done - correctly. I always bring my car to the dealer for service and I do not understand why it's now necessary to prepare for multiple trips. I love my car! I depend upon my car! I always depended upon the work being done correctly, the first time. This service visit(s) was a disappointment. We have been buying our trucks from Motor City since 1991 - what happened to quality? The adviser was very courteous. I would have liked to have been told, up front, that what I wanted done would take multiple trips. I did not appreciate having to take my time to make sure the service to my car was completed.
Our salesman was very helpful and eager to help us find the vehicle we were looking for.
I just read computer info about dealer service and there did call me back and there hope stressful on me .I like them dealer and plan buy new car soon

I had a wonderful experience with Motor City. I was looking to upgrade one of my cars and saw that they had one that I was interested in. I met with ... them and they were willing to negotiate the price below even the advertised internet price. Unfortunately, I took too long in making my decision and when I checked back Monday morning found out it had been sold over the weekend. I bought a car from them about 8 years ago also and have been very happy with the purchase. I would highly recommend them.

Have used Service Department since buying 2005 Sierra 1500 Crew Cab new and have recommended to others. Sold two more trucks on personal recommendation... about the quality of GMC trucks. Hands down best vehicle I ever owned.

This was my first visit to the dealership after buying my Enclave from a friend. The service department was prompt and efficient. William Russell kept... me informed of the status of the job, so I knew what was going on. My job took a day longer than expected, so I had to use the shuttle service, both to and from home. Jordan was a good driver. Overall a very positive experience.
