To whom it may concern, I have been coming to Mercedes Benz Modesto now for years for service on my 2010, E350. My encounter with your dealership this time (10/13/2020) was not so pleasant. The outrageous prices that Mercedes charges for parts and for labor are ridiculous and outrageous! Also, with the lack of concern for the customer when the customer calls in for a status check on their vehicle with no call back and/or having to leave numerous messages on a voicemail service for the Service Rep. Please refer to my experience, listed below. 10/13: 0830 Hrs. Car taken into Mercedes 1709 Hrs. I called Henry for a status check on the vehicle. The only thing done to the vehicle was an attempt to check the auxiliary battery. He (Henry) stated that the Battery tester broke. * Nothing else done to the vehicle all day long.????? Other things needing repair could have been completed. 10/14: 1211 Hrs. Henry called and stated that the auxiliary battery needed to be replaced. He also gave me a quote for all the repairs. * I told him to hold off and I would get back with him because the quote ?was an outrageous price.? 10/15: 0746 Hrs. Missed call from Henry 0806 Hrs. I called Henry back and left a message. 1028 Hrs. I called Henry again and left a message 1134 Hrs. I called Henry again and left another message. 1406 Hrs. I called Henry again and left another message. 1450 Hrs. I called Henry again and was put on hold for sometime before he answered the phone. I told him that I was going to take the vehicle to another shop but because of his delays in getting back with me I had no choice other than to get the repairs completed. When asked what the timeframe would be for the completion of the vehicle with all repairs, he stated that it would be done early afternoon. 10/16: No call from Henry all day. 16:00 Hrs. I called Henry and left a message asking the status of the vehicle? 1610 Hrs. Henry returned my call and stated that the vehicle was ready.???????????????????? Cost for all repairs. $3000.12? with my discount wild card and possible other discounts given by Mercedes. I can not believe the outrageous cost that Mercedes charges! I was quoted a price of almost $4K for all repairs to my vehicle. Example: How is it that Mercedes charges $90.09 for front wiper blades? This is ludicrous! One final note - I don?t think Henry means any disrespect by it ?. But, he calls the customer ?Bud?. You should instruct your service Reps that they should speak to customers with respect at all times! When speaking to customers, they should call them by Mr./Mrs./Ms. Last name. Ie. Mr. Vargas, etc. unless otherwise instructed by the customer.

Warranty work

We just had some warranty work done and Chris was the best at keeping me informed on the work being done, I wish all customer service people were as informative as he was. The work was done and we were on our way, thank you to Modesto Mercedes for the service work and the communication

Not Impressed!

Went from a Lexus to a Mercedes. Hands down, Lexus much superior in customer service. The Mercedes is a nice car, but disappointed in the overall service in buying the vehicle. Happy with salesman.

My problem wasn't solved but it happens so seldom unless it happens for them to see it they can't seem to fix it - however Chris was my service adviser and he did find that my wheels needed to be aligned and my car drove so much better after the alignment. Chris was very helpful I will ask for him each time I take my car for service or any other problem I have with it. I also will recommend Chris to all my friends that take their car to Mercedes-Benz of Modesto.

I bought three vehicles from Modesto dealership...

I bought three vehicles from Modesto dealership 2020worse year in service I m completely not satisfied I bought it past three years 2 SUB on 0 miles brand new this time I called some times ten times left message never received call very bad service this year I ended up going to BMW
