    I worked with Derrick Folgar on the purchase of a new Honda CRV. The experience with him was fabulous. He was most conscientious and promised only what he could deliver. I appreciated his honesty and found his follow through on the sale to be excellent. Great Job Derrick. My experience with their finance department was less than excellent. While we were able to complete the purchase and finance at a great rate of .9%, it took getting past a few bad attitudes to get there. I waited over two hours to get started and another hour and thirty minutes to finish the paperwork. If you choose to finance your vehicle with Honda, go with patience as their customer service in this area could use some improvement.

    I travel all over the country for my job. Back in December, I was in Salt Lake City and had my car looked over for the road trip to Seattle. When I was at that dealership, I was told that because of the airbag recall, I shouldn't be leaving the lot with the vehicle. Since I wasn't from the area, they advised me to get the vehicle checked when I got home. In Seattle, before I left for the cross-country trip home to VA, I was told the same thing. Funny thing, when I got back to VA and took my vehicle in, no one seemed concerned about me driving this vehicle. When I brought it up to the service writer, he didn't seem too concerned about what the other dealerships had said to me. My family really pushed the issue with me, and I pushed it with him. He finally did say that he could get me a rental car but I would have to take my vehicle home and sign a waiver stating that no one would drive the vehicle except to bring it back when the airbags came in (5-6 weeks later). I did this and a family member was going to take me to Enterprise to pick up my rental. As I'm pulling into my driveway, the service writer calls me and says that his boss wants my vehicle on their property until the airbag comes in. I'm OK with this, turn around and drop off my vehicle. I got my rental and had no issues. When they called to tell me that my airbags were in and the car was ready to go, I was out of town. My uncle had to go pick up the vehicle, but wasn't asked for any ID and I wasn't called to verify that he was authorized to pick up my vehicle, which I found a little odd. Anyone could walk in there saying the right name and walk out with my vehicle? Anyway, now I'm waiting for the passenger side airbag to come in. I called them July 25 (It's now Sept 17) for this, and still haven't gotten a call about it. I've called twice. I've had a customer service rep call once to confirm it is on order. I had a family vacation that required us to take extra vehicles because of recall stating that no one could ride in the passenger side. I attempted to speak to the dealership about this, but received a male employee on the phone who was quite rude to me, simply repeating "You have to call corporate" despite any question I asked. I'm very disappointed this time around. To boot, Honda knew about the passenger bag recall WHILE THEY HAD MY VEHICLE when they were replacing the drivers side airbag. I'm not sure why they couldn't have ordered both simultaneously, or why I wasn't even made aware of it until I received the notice in the mail a few weeks later. It just seems like bad customer service.

    The initial approach by a service representative appeared to be a little harsh because I did not have an appointment. However, my assigned service advisor's hospitality was much warmer and made me feel welcomed. I will visit Troy Riley (Advisor) again for scheduled maintenance because of his great customer service. Thank you Troy!
