I bought a lifetime service plan when I bought the car so I go here for oil changes. Every visit involves some drama. The most recent visit was a 3 hour... wait to have an oil change and tires rotated. This was with an appointment, not a drop in. They were supposed to wash my car too (part of the plan) but didn't. I also had a nail in the middle of my tire. I thought they'd pull it out and patch it or put a plug in. I was expecting the cost to be around $20. Instead, they came out with prices for a new tire and told me the nail was poking through the sidewall. It was not. They ultimately put a plug in it, charged me $40 for labor, an environmental fee, and electronic document storage fee. They had to take the tire off to rotate it anyway, so I don't know why there's an additional labor fee ($29.99) but OK. The plug itself was only about $3.
The experience was good. It took numerous calls to make sure the purchase was on track.

On Friday August 9th, 2019 I purchased a 2012 Ford Raptor from Sheehy Ford in Marlow Heights, MD. Just outside of Washington D.C. When I purchased the... truck, Sheehy Ford gave me a 2 month “Dealer Warranty” assuring me that they would take care of any significant issues that the vehicle might show. I was one hour into my return trip home when a light rain began so of course I tried to use my wipers. Imagine my surprise when, after only 2 cycles, my windshield wipers stopped working altogether. In addition to the wipers, and all at once, my windshield washer was inoperable and my dashboard display began flashing faults with the Hill Descent Control, Advance Trac and rearview camera. The cruise control stopped working, my left headlight and right turn signal both stopped working. While under the hood trouble shooting I also discovered that two relays were missing from the relay box. I immediately took pictures of everything and sent a detailed text to the salesman from Sheehy Ford who assured me that the warranty would cover this and that I should take it to a local Ford dealership for repairs since I lived 180 miles from them. So the day after I purchased my truck I dropped it at a local dealership, recapped everything that had happened and provided them with contact information to Sheehy Ford. It took nearly a week for Sheehy Ford to authorize any diagnostics, during which it was discovered that two of the brake calipers were completely seized, the rear defrost was inoperable, the fan shroud retainer was missing, the sunroof switch cover was missing, and the rear rotors were so bad that they would not even pass state inspection. It is now Thursday, 12 September and my truck still has not been returned to me. For myself and the staff at the local dealership, the last month has been a ridiculous game of avoidance, shifty practices and phone tag with the staff at Sheehy Ford. Sheehy Ford has refused to replace missing parts and even refused to fix major safety concerns causing the truck to fail State Inspection. I have spoken with the Salesman(Ony), the former Service Manager(Gary), The Commercial Sales Manager(Keith), the General Sales Manager(Harry), the General Manager(Ashanti) and left a message with the new Service Manager(Angel). All to no avail because while they make bold claims and profess their innocence in the matter, the truck came from them FUBAR, is still not fixed and still will not pass inspection. Oh, by the way, it is also convenient that over one month of my two month warranty has elapsed with my truck in the shop. I requested a warranty extension and suggested that they provide me with a rental, but was denied both and now cannot find anyone willing to answer the phone or handle this incredibly outrageous situation.

After going to another dealer and waiting days to get the car I (Kinda) wanted transferred to the store, I stopped by per a request through KKB to see... the sales manager. He put me with Aaron Alexander to assist me with my purchase. Aaron was very helpful and went above and WAY beyond. Within 2.5 hours they appraised my Jeep (giving me $500 more than the other dealer), went about 20 miles away to pickup my car from a sister dealership, had me through finance and out the door. He got me the color I wanted 4WD and with more equipment then I planned on getting. Aaron and the sales-manager (Daniel) knocked it out of the park!!! A couple day later, I reached out to Aaron about resetting the door pass-code and an owners manual. When I walked in he was there to greet me and within 30 minutes he got the code reset, a owners manual and on my way. 10's across the board!!!

I had my vehicle towed to Sheehy Ford of Marlow Heights of MD versus Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg MD because I live in Cheverly MD. They got the vehicle... on Friday and I had to call them on Tuesday for the status because no one called me. Finally, when they told me it would take a while for repair, I requested a loaner or rental. They refused my request even when I told them that my vehicle is under warranty and I have the VIP package. I called Sheehy of Gaithersburg for assistance, they talked direct to Marlow Heights store, authorizing them to set me up with a loaner. Marlow Heights still refused to do it. Gaithersburg had to arrange a vehicle for me and I had to go to Gaithersburg from my home .
