My family has owned Toyotas for decades. But no more, thanks to the unscrupulous sales team at Michael's. I negotiated a deal for a no-frills silver RAV4... Hybrid XSE. They didn't have the car in stock but promised delivery in short order: 90 days in the absolute worst case. I put down $1000 earnest money and settled in. The weeks passed and I periodically asked for status updates. The car was in port! Then it hadn't yet been built. You get the idea. Next began the upsell. A car exactly like mine had just arrived! But with $3000 in extra options or in a more expensive trim package. If I were a betting man, I'd wager that "my" car arrived many times and they sold it each time to someone willing to pay a sucker price. In any case, at the 90 day mark, they gave me the choice of taking an upsell or waiting indefinitely. I did what any right-thinking person would do: I took back my deposit and bought a Honda.

I can only review the salesman I dealt with in this dealership. This may or may not apply to other salesmen at Michael's Toyota at Bellevue, although I... wish each one of them would have consistent professionalism as manifested by Brad Petersen throughout my car buying process. I would say the Costco Auto Program in this particular instance has an epitome of what an excellent customer service shall be - not pushy, courteous, respectful of buyer's decision and tactful. The dreadful " What will make you buy the car today?" : that comes out of the mouth of most salesmen were not directly uttered by Brad, though politely implied. That spells a big difference. The buyer is allowed to be cerebral about his purchase, without toying on the emotion of how the individual badly want to buy his dream car. So far, I have great experience at this dealership. We'll see if the Service Department of Michael's Toyota can deliver great service to be at par with my car buying experience. I will reserve other reviews in various websites to inform buyers on who the right person can provide excellent customer service and spare themselves with nightmarish experience. Oh, by the way, I've talked to several dealers and walked out on two. P.S. I purchased a 2014 Toyota Corolla S-Premium at Michael's Toyota Bellevue

Very poor follow through after purchase does not deliver what they promise and tag team you with their sales team/management etc... to justify why they... are not following through. I have never been treated so poorly after purchasing a vehicle in my life. I even had my sales person slam his hand on the counter at me with a intimidating attitude and that is putting it lightly, what was worse when I brought this up it was dismissed as if it was ok or not important enough to address and proceeded on how they were not going to do what was promised. They never addressed the fact I just drove a hour to get there and sat waiting for 45 minute to have what i came for done which never got done. Instead I was made me feel terrible. I was told I got a great deal, there is no more room in the deal, they stated they never promised me a the service etc... I am not in car sales, if they sold the car for less than they should have that is not on me and does not justify them not following through with what has been promised. I am not privileged to their numbers. Nor do i know how their services etc are handled I just purchased a car. I am not the one who approved the sale price they did. So I left with no service done, I drove all the way there was made to feel guilty and was tag teamed by management, and the sales team it was brutal and I was upset all the way home. When I left I was told it would be looked into and I would receive a call the next day. Oh they did call me only to tag teamed me some more interrogated by management, plus they put the sales people on the phone to confront me as well (4) individuals tag teamed me on the phone all over a spare key and I was made to feel I was in the wrong for asking for what I was promised. I love Toyota products and Lexus very much however this place stay clear of Michaels Toyota their customer service is the worst i have ever encountered I have not received a call back since, for what has been promised and I feel I most likely won't happening unless I call them... I am very hurt, upset and disappointed... :( :( :( Note: I was told when I purchased the vehicle I would receive a call on having the following services scheduled it was agreed to as part of the deal made.... the door ding on the passengers door fixed which I stated was not necessary to do, I was also promised a spare key... I was told they would reach out to the owner to see if they would bring the spare I asked what if they don't not to worry they would figure it out...but I would have a spare key... I never once was told i would have to pay for the door or the key.... all this over a small door ding and a spare key. #1 never received the call...I had to initiate and call them... which I never should have had to do... #2, when i did it took me a few weeks to get it scheduled... #3 I never was told at anytime during the scheduling that I would have any out of pocket expense till the day the service was scheduled and I was already on my way there ... #4 Not only did they have me drive all the way there, then had me wait... #5 They had no regards to my travel time or my feelings at all... #6 Their only concern was how they could get out of doing what was promised and they went beyond to do so... Tag teaming me from one person to the next... #7 No resolution services still not completed A copy has been sent to Corporate Toyota as well I do not want anyone else to go through what i have been put through... :(
Mr. Hosford was amazing!!! He was patient and had to deal with me coming back 4 times. He made sure we were informed in all the steps of buying the Tundra,... and we couldn't be happier. If you visit Michaels Toyota of Bellevue make sure you ask for Eric Hosford, you won't regret it.

My husband and I drove down into the city on the hunt for some used car deals. We were warmly greeted by Blake. He was so easy to work with and answered... all of our repetitive question. He was looking to make sure we got the best bang for our buck. The refreshments where so convenient and made the process feel like a walk in the park. Every one was so friendly. Blake showed us a few cars and they where in crisp condition. I highly recommend visiting this location for your car searches, and plan to send my neighbors your way!
