They helped me find the right truck i needed. Let me test drive as many vehicles that i needed to be satisfied.
Tayfun our sales associate was knowledgeable about vehicles on the lot and their safety ratings. He wasn't pushy, but instead listened to what we wanted... in a vehicle and has me test drive a few different models till so I could figure out what one I wanted . He cared about finding a vehicle to fit the features we wanted and didn't try to push us towards something we weren't interested in. The buying process was quicker than previous experience at dealerships. They were very accomodating to our request and budget. All the staff was friendly and helped entertain out 6 year old who was completely bored with the car buying process. TV , hot chocolate, and cartoons for the win. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, financing, and would buy at this dealership again.
Thank you for your feedback. Our team strives to deliver an excellent experience, and are glad you found this to be the case during your visit.
We knew the model we wanted when we decided it was time to give up our 4-wheel drive truck. Our last stop was at Kendall Toyota. Our sales consultant was... Alexander Mora, he was so helpful, showed us a Fav4, it happened to be everything we had wanted. He spent a lot of time with us, answered all our questions. Did not pressure us. Just made the buying process very pleasant.Thank you, Alex
I explained what I was looking for and the sales person presented me with several options meeting my needs. Took the time for me to drive all and consider... my choice carefully. It took sometime, but they happily let me have the necessary time to let me feel comfortable with my choice.
Gregory Klein, your satisfaction is our top priority. Thanks again for the recommendation, and have an amazing day!
These folks have an excellent facility and staff, and do a very nice job. I love Toyota!
Joe, we're glad you had such a wonderful experience with us!
I have had a terrible experience with Kendall from buying to service. First, my requests for information on available cars through the website were ignored... (I tried twice and both times had no response). Then I went in person. Kendall would not negotiate at all on new car or trade-in price, which was vastly above a reasonable premium for being in Alaska. After agreeing to their price and letting them know I was paying cash and needed to get the car as quickly as possible as I had an obligation later that afternoon they then took three hours to do the minimal paperwork and get me the keys. They said they would call when my plates but in, but I never heard from them so I called to check in after a month. They said my plates had been there for weeks and speculated maybe they had not had my phone number (they did). Then today I needed an estimate for a very small scratch I wanted buffed out. The service department said they would need my car for half a day just to give me an estimate, and they do not provide loaners (though I could use their courtesy shuttle). I was dumbfounded at this as I have gone to 2 different autobody repair shops in the last few years and an estimate at those shops was a 10 minute process. I asked to speak a manager at this point because I have just been so disappointed with Kendall that I wanted to express this to management, but the managers were all too busy to speak with me. Someone must have freed up by now and I have not heard back, so I decided to write a review instead. We bought a Toyota at Kendall 9 years ago and it was a much more positive experience. Having a monopoly in Anchorage is certainly not good for Kendall’s commitment to customers. I now wish I had bought an Acura so that I would not have supported this dealership. In the future I will either buy in the lower 48 or choose a make that does not need to be purchased from Kendall.

As a recent NEW Used Car Buyer, at Kendall Toyota of Anchorage, my wife and I experienced an overall pleasant buying experience. However, post the negotiation... stage of the buying process; we experienced ‘Just One Issue!’ As a condition to purchase, it was agreed during the negotiation stage of the deal, that an auto remote start be installed into our NEW ‘used car.’ It was agreed that the remote start and install not be included in the sale price. While at the finance table, we discovered that the remote start and install had been added to the cost of the vehicle. An attempt was made by the dealer center to resolve the matter; however, only half of the cost was absorbed by the dealership and we were left paying for the other half. In a sense, it seemed they were, ‘’stepping over dollars to pick up dimes.’’ Other than that, Garrett, our Sales Consultant, was pleasant and accommodating. Finance with Vineta was awesome and her follow-up customer service has been impeccable. She has arranged with the service department an order for the remote start and we will have it installed when the part arrives next week. On top of that, we will be given a loaner car to drive during the remote start install; and during the same visit, our NEW Used Car will also receive a very fine auto detail with upholstery cleaning and all the works. Vineta’s unmatched quality, customer service, and professionalism, speak volumes about the expectations we have for the follow-through on our upcoming service department experience at Kendall Toyota of Anchorage.
We always strive to provide top quality service to every guest, and are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us.
If I could rate this dealership a "0", I would. I purchased a Range Rover from this dealership. When I was taken to test drive the vehicle, I was driven... several miles away to a storage lot. It appeared to be in good condition other than a damage to the windshield. The salesman said it would be repaired if I chose but that I should just call it an Alaska bruise. I purchased the vehicle that evening. after waiting 3 hours for paperwork. Bottom line....it was sold with bad brakes. Brakes so damaged that the calipers were bent. The dealership refused to look at the damage pictures from my mechanic who told me there was no possible way that I could have done that damage in the time I had owned the vehicle or the amount of miles I had driven. Very bad customer service and reliability.
Thank you for bringing this experience to our attention. Please contact our General Manager, Tim Toth, at 907-257-3802 at your earliest convenience to... speak more about the purchase of your Range Rover. We look forward to speaking with you.
