2004 SSR Repair

I had my stepper motors on the instrument panel replaced. The work was done quicker than expected and that is always good. Customer Service agents were very cordial so much so that they appeared to take a real shine to my SSR almost as if they hadn't seen many before. My only concern was that I knew what needed to be done and specifically communicated it, yet I was charged $149.99 for diagnostics.

shady business practices

I had an electrical issue and needed service department to diagnose the issue. I set up an appointment and two days later they hadn't even looked at it. On top of all that I had to call to get updates. And when I decided to go get the truck the service manager lied to me and told me a sob story of not being able to get parts as easily lately. Which doesn't make sense if they haven't diagnosed the issue. Completely incompetent and unprofessional.

Jeremiah , We strive to satisfy every customer and failed to call you on Monday no excuse for that ...however you clearly understood the expectations and timeline that was set for an electrical issue diagnosis .Seeing that you had the vehicle at another repair facility on 4/10/2021 and on 8/06/2021 just 12 days ago ,I am sure you are frustrated . There is no sob story anyone who watches the news or reads online is fully aware of the shortages across all industries that is impacting businesses and consumers alike .Fred was merely trying to explain to you the delays throughout our shop impacting scheduling . I truly wish there was a better ending and hope you find a better result at the third repair facility you visit . I forgot, and actually missed, my service appointment in the morning. The service department was extremely accommodating and rescheduled for me that afternoon. It’s too much to type of what they did, but I will say the staff went above and beyond.
