    I ordered four tires for my wife's Tacoma . Went on 4/26/17 to Prime Toyota to have them installed .I had the aftermarket wheels in the back of the truck which are for summer tires. Checked in with the service person said I had an appointment . He said it would be 1 1/2 to 2hours said it ok and went to the lounge. About 15 minutes later the service person came to see me. He said my sticker was expiring next month (May) would I like to renew it, I said yes. About two hours into it he calls me over into the children's play room in a low tone says they can't put the wheels on the truck because they have no TPMS valves on them . He said that He has been working here for 25 years and was unaware of the law. He later gave me a copy of the law. It was instituted in 2005 he is right on top of His safety bulletins. I should have been told this prior to having four tires mounted . I said OK and would put them on myself . About 1/2 hour later He said the truck was ready. I paid my bill and started to head out . The service person says " Oh by the way one tire took three ounces on weights and is marked RR to put on the right rear on the truck . I didn't think much of it at the moment so I headed out. Once in the truck noticed the sticker hadn't been changed. Went back in to see him . He asked if there was a problem? They forgot to put the new sticker on I said . He then started scurrying through his paper work and says that He forgot to transfer it? Come back in He says we will put one on for free. Told him that I didn't have the time had to be somewhere shortly. I left in discuss. Once I had left I was thinking that if I have to put it on the right rear what is going to happen when I rotate the tires like your supposed to . I called them the next morning. I asked the service person I spoke to why do I have to put the tire on the right rear. His response was this was the furthest away from the driver so you don't fell the vibration . I the asked how will I rotate the tires His response was ah ah ah let me connect you with the service person you had yesterday. Once connected with Him I asked Him the same questions Oh it might not be bad I just spent $495.53 for tires that may vibrate the heck out of the truck. He said it had to be a bad wheel bent or something . We never had a problem prior to this the tires were all evenly worn with no vibrations . If it was that bad they shouldn't have put a tire on it. Why did He wait till it was paid for and I was walking out the door to tell me . I told Him that I didn't put the tires on the truck yet, and I was returning them. He says it don't work that way. I told him they wouldn't guarantee no vibration so I didn't want there tire. He then says you were shop teacher how do you balance a wheel. I explained it to him. He says you don't balance the tire you balance the wheel. I explained to Him you balance the entire assembly. He was then getting agitated as was I. Itold HIm I would blast this experience on the web. His response was I'm going to blast your name all over the place too. I thought His personal attack on me was very unprofessional. I didn't use his name. We own two Tundras one Tacoma and a Silverado . You can bet that We wont be returning to Prime service . Oh by the way they did do a nice job of washing the truck even though it was raining !
