I brought my Pilot in for an oil change and was greeted...

I brought my Pilot in for an oil change and was greeted by Eddie very warmly. Love the family atmosphere at this dealership! He offered me the shuttle service back to my house since my vehicle needed a couple other services that took about to three hours which I appreciated. I always can count on friendly, honest and helpful service for my Honda from the team at AutoNation.

The person I dealt with was friendly, but unprofessional....

The person I dealt with was friendly, but unprofessional. I was buying a car out of state and since I was unable to see the car physically, I needed to have one of the sales reps look over the car for me so that I could make sure everything was working before making a purchase. Despite telling the lady I’d be paying in full once everything was checked over, she emailed me back and told me that the car was sold because someone came in before me and made a full deposit for it. I understand cars are first come first serve, but I find it unprofessional that you decided to sell a car that I’m inquiring about just because I needed to have a few things looked over before making an out of state purchase. Just like the majority of the reviews here, I wouldn’t recommend.

Great Service

Most of the service Advisors are friendly and professional, especially Charlene. She takes the time to explain what is needed and even what can wait so as not to unnecessarily push other services onto the owner if it is not needed. She is one that you can trust!

New car purchase

Excellent sales experience! Pricing was much lower than other local dealers, sales person was upfront about the cost and the entire process went very smoothly. I walked out with a new SUV that same day. Exactly how buying a car should be!

Welcoming and Professional

Went to several different dealers but felt the most welcomed by Honda Ohare, they took care of all my questions, made me feel confident in buying a vehicle, but most importantly they made sure i left loving my new purchase and with no doubts!

I received a letter to bring my 2019 Passport in for a recall for a faulty fuel pump. After making an appointment to bring the vehicle in on 5/29/2021, I was told by serviceman Ivan Rivera that the dealership doesn't have the part in stock, but will order one and would have to make another appointment. He also told me the work couldn't be done until the part came in, which wouldn't be on the same day. I made another appointment for the work to be done on Friday 6/4/2021. The vehicle was dropped off on Thursday night 6/3/2021. On 6/4/2021 I called 4 times and my wife called 2 times to check the status of my vehicle. All 6 times we left messages for Rivera to call one of us. He never returned mine or my wife's calls. I decided to stop at O'Hare on the way home from work. Talked to manager "Josh". I related to him the story of my vehicle. He assured me that my vehicle would be ready by 6 this evening. When I was leaving Rivera yelled "Frale, Frale". At 5PM my wife called the dealership to see when we could pick up the vehicle. According to the receptionist nobody answered the phone in service dept. My wife then asked for manager "Josh" and was told that he's not answering. We decided that was enough and to pick up my truck. When we got to O'Hare Honda, the manager "Josh" told me there was an explanation as to why my vehicle wasn't worked on. He asked me to give him a second to explain and so I did. He said there wasn't really a reason why my vehicle wasn't worked on, but wanted to take me off to a side room to talk to me. I told him "NO", that I wanted my key to my vehicle so I could leave. When I was in the service drive thru area, another employee who will remain anonymous approached me and told me this goes on all the time. He further stated Josh is probably high on drugs and lets Rivera do whatever he wants. Although all the rest of the desks were manned by service employees, Rivera's was conspicuously empty.
