I recently worked with Connie B to purchase a used Audi Q7. The transaction started out online and I came in from out of state to buy the car. Connie ...was wonderful at making sure that everything was ready to go when I got there. All I had to do was test drive and make a decision! She was so nice and great at keeping everything moving forward so I could get back on the road home (in my new car) at a decent time. Everyone that I worked with at Perillo was great but I really enjoyed working with Connie and would recommend looking for her as your sales person if you can!
Tina, thank you so much for sharing your kind words! Connie and the rest of our great sales team take great pride in doing all we can to make sure our... customers always drive away completely satisfied. We hope you had a safe, and fun, trip home in your new Q7. We truly appreciate your business, and please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything more we can do for you. Have a wonderful day!
We purchased a 2010 X5 on Jan 6 and just received delivery this week (25 days later). We realize this was mostly due to Mfg recalls, but having paid ...cash for a car and not receiving it for nearly a month has certainly tested our patience. Then, upon delivery our frustration boiled over when the vehicle arrived with only 1 key, and was missing the all-weather floor mats (part of your required $189 charge). I was told the floor mats would be sent overnight, yet 3 days later we still have not received them. I have not received any answer or explanation for the key. This is the 3rd BMW we have purchased (1st from Perillo). While I understand paying cash for a used car may not have much priority for the dealer, we have come to expect a level of service to match the quality of vehicle from BMW, and our experience with Perillo has failed significantly to meet that level of service.
Jason Goetz was a great salesman. Laid back and not too pushy. Answered questions, facilitated things nicely, accessible by email and phone. Would ...definitely buy from again, except that he works for Perillo, and I'm not too keen on supporting Perillo again. But if you must go to Perillo, go with Goetz. NOTE: 5 star rating for Jason is 5. Perillo is 0-1.
We are thrilled to hear that Jason was able to provide you with an excellent experience. We appreciate your willingness to provide us with your feedba...ck, and we hope to be able to continue providing you with excellent experiences in the future.
This is my 4th BMW in 15 years. I have lived in several states and dealt with a handful or two of dealerships. I have never seen such poor hours of ...service (Mon-Fri ONLY) and closed by 6pm with pick-up by 6:30pm. Perhaps the service people want to get home, but people have jobs that do not make it easy to get there by 6:30pm, especially with Chicago traffic. Furthermore, I could not drop off before 7:30am - even though they open at 7am, which is still a lazy opening time. Note: Other area dealers including Mercedes and Audi open at 6:30am - AND have Saturday service hours. Back in Boston, Herb Chambers was open 7 days a week for service. On top of that, the whole experience was just shoddy. The service advisor was listless upon arrival, and never went over what was done with me at pick-up. Granted it was a straight forward annual service, other service advisors have always reviewed with me what was done, what was to be expected, etc. Also, I was scheduled to have a Hertz rental car. When I got to Hertz, there was no record of it. I waited about half an hour for someone to send over an authorization number. I called Perillo numerous times and was transferred from here to there, ultimately to voicemails. Never did any human, advisor or manager ever talk to me directly to address the issue - including the service advisor, Dannette. Let alone did anyone ever off an apology for this oversight. I was late to work at the hospital as a result. I will never return here for service again, even if it means driving miles out of my way to the burbs. They perhaps need a little healthy competition within the city to encourage them to cater to the customer. Because cater to the customer, they do NOT.
Bought my CPO 5 Series back in March 2017. After smelling something burning I took the car in for an inspection to my local BMW dealership (Not Perill...o) which found a significant transmission leak. This was only two weeks after purchasing from Perillo and was told by another BMW dealership that the leak would have led to a complete transmission failure if not corrected immediately. Further, I was told it was obvious the car had been leaking for quite some time as the undercarriage pan was saturated, and that the car should have never been sold as a CPO until the issue was corrected. The vehicle also had wheel damage covered up with some type of semi-professional spray painting. I discovered the hidden damage when the weather got warm enough to wash the car by hand. As I was washing the wheels the paint seemed really rough, so I applied some pressure with a fingernail and the paint came off, revealing the actual finish underneath. There is significant damage to the wheels and they will require reconditioning. The key takeaway is to understand that Perillo does not sell CPO vehicles, they sell used cars with issues and (in my opinion) do so illegitimately by adding the BMW CPO designation as vehicles sold as such are supposed to be trouble free. I tried reaching out to Burim Bezeri, the salesman I had worked with. His position was that " I must have run over something to have caused the transmission leak" and "I must have hit some curbs and caused the damage to each of the 4 wheels". I am not making this up... I also tried to contact BMW customer relations, who more or less said I was at the mercy of the dealership. The bottom line is that the trans was fixed for free, and the wheels are what they are- "Fool me once.." The CPO designation as I have learned is nothing more than an extended warranty by the manufacturer and dealerships are not held to any standards when designating vehicles as CPO, despite how Trish responds, so don't be fooled into thinking the vehicle will be as new or better than any other used vehicle. Trish, if Perillo took this matter seriously, I would have received a much more appropriate response from Burim Beziri and even some effort to make the situation right. That did not happen and was more or less turned away. I think the comments you post on here are a disservice to those trying to warn unsuspecting car shoppers to stay as far as possible from your dealership.
Found a car on their website. Called the number listed, no response. Called again, no response. Literally, there was a ring and then it would stop rin...ging. Time to update the phone number perhaps? Then I asked for information on the vehicle on their website. There is a place next to the car that let's you do this. Waited 4 days, no response. Emailed someone called a BDC or liaison. No response. Short of sending a fax or snail mail, I had no way of getting a hold of anyone in that dealership. And no, I do not want to talk to Caesar now, after the fact. I have already bought a similar car at another dealer. Just want Perillo to know how awful their customer service is and to make sure other potential buyers understand it. Fix the problem Perillo.
Called them to talk to a sales rep. Got number from website. No one answered. Very strange indeed. Then I emailed the dealer. Finally, I found an inte...resting car on their website and filled out all my info, including phone number for someone to contact me ASAP. 4 days later - nothing. No call back, no email, no nothing. Fortunately there are other dealers in the Chicago area who would be happy to take my money and I would be happy to give it to them. Not these guys, they just do not seem to want to work at all.

I was looking for a particular configuration of the BMW x3. Garrett at Perillo BMW worked his magic and found my car. The process of negotiation was... very non confrontational and resulted and my purchasing this beautiful cross-over. Perillo worked within my budget and got me the car that I wanted with little hassle. I highly recommend. I particularly want to shout out to Garret Goldstein who managed the sale. Thanks,
Michael, thanks for choosing Perillo BMW! We've so glad that Garrett could help you take home your new car and made the experience comfortable for you.... Come back any time!
I bought a 2014 CPO X1 from this dealer earlier this month. Although I was told it had new tires it did not. Apparently the tires barely passed the CP...O inspection (4 mm) so they chose not to put new tires on the car. Now I had to replace all 4 tires due to a puncture in one and requested reimbursement of $625 from Perillo but they refused. Doing the bare minimum of inspection and trying to save a few hundred dollars will hurt Perillo's bottom line. Because of this experience I will never buy another BMW from Perlllo and would caution anyone doing business with them.
