The dealer never responded to my email and felt it was very unprofessional why even have that as an option and thats what works best for me being so busy.
I went and looked at a used Pontiac Grand Am pricing good. After looking at the car notice the door locks did not work . Assured us they would have it... fixed . we decided to buy it. Went back to get the car and the driver side mirror was broken and the locks were not fixed Salesman said the mirror was like that when we bought it it wasn't. Brought one of the owners out he confirmed it was not like that when we looked at it. When I asked if there was any recalls on the car was told by the salesman Mark Cohen no. After purchasing the car we get a flyer in the mail there is an ignition recall on this vehicle. Stay away from this place especially if your salesman is Mark Cohen he is your typical used car salesman. They never called us when the title and the registrations were in waited almost 3 months to pick them up.
Sal, shame on Mark for possibly not calling you when your MV work came back, and also possibly stating there's no recalls on the car without checking ...the Carfax report, but you did have an opportunity to review any recalls when you signed off on the Carfax report. We did repair the mirror (which was broken all along) at no charge to you right in the beginning. We also explained to you, after diagnosing the power door lock repair also at no charge, that it wasn't a switch or the motor and that the time involved to find the open in the wiring somewhere to repair that one door lock only, exceeded the value of the car! Sal, you do have to admit, we helped your girlfriend's daughter with a good-running, decent $2,000-budget car, a car in a price range that is extremely limited today.

I moved down ocean county 17 years ago and I've been to at least 8 service shops and when I tell you that I've gotten it over a barrel by everyone of them... I'm being nice I won't get into naming the shops but believe you me you won't find a better one then THE FAMILY OWENED AND OPERATED DEALERSHIP THAT ALL OF MONMOUTH AND OCEAN COUNTIES CALL DEFELICE their sales service customer service you name THEY ARE THE BEST you bring your car in for service on a Monday you get it back on the same Monday fixed properly no phone calls during the day saying that they found this that and the other thing that needs to be fixed before you can drive it they fix the problems they don't make up new ones and keep your car for a week while it's being fixed nor do you have to bring it back they fix it correctly the first time and by them I mean Timmy Eddie Jeff Mike Joe like I said THE WHOLE FAMILY doesn't matter who or which one you speak with the outcome is always the same PERFECTION .... I've tried the rest but now I've found the best and if you go anywhere else for service sales whatever your automotive needs are shame on you because you'd be wasting your time and money going anywhere else but DeFelice in Point Pleasant NJ
I'm not one to write reviews but in this case I had too and I urge anyone not to ever buy a car here. And why is because I was sold a car with a BAD CARFAX,granite... I should of asked but I was in need and had no car to get to work so my concern was leaving with a car. They also wouldn't fix my tire pressure issue they sold the car to me with. I though it was just a low tire pressure which is nothing and ended being way more. I went in here in need of a car to get to work as nice as could be and they played it off like they were nice too and completely set me up for failure selling me the car and just taking advantage of me. So if they can be so cruel to someone humble in need of a car imagine what they could do if you have the money or not in need.

My overall buying experience with Defelice Auto Sales & Service was a great one. I saw an SUV online that interested me and called to be sure it was still... available. Jack Defelice was the person I spoke with. When I arrived, he met me in the parking lot with the SUV ready for a test drive. Jack answered all of my questions and made the purchase of the SUV quick and easy. It turned out that the SUV had some very expensive mechanical issues. So I took it back to the dealership to see what could be done. I was expecting expecting to have to fight with a manager or owner but that didn't happen. I met with Jeff Defelice and Mark Cohen to discuss my options. Instead of being defensive and uncooperative, they worked with me. Mark showed me several SUVs that met my needs and, most importantly, were within my budget. He was patient with me and understanding of the whole situation. I ended up trading in the first SUV for a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe. What a good vehicle! Fun to drive. I had it checked out by my local mechanic who gave it a clean bill of health. He was also surprised that the Santa Fe didn't cost more than I paid for it. Thank you Jack, Mark and Jeff for working with me and making this a positive experience. Defelice Auto is a family run business that treats its customers like family. When I'm ready for my next vehicle, this is the first place I'll look.

Sent a credit application 5 days ago still no reply called waited on hold for 10 min what a joke
Steven. we did received your credit application on Friday Dec 23. 2016. Our special finance person had reached out and left you a message. We apolog...ize that due to the holiday schedule that we were closed for the weekend and not here to try to get in touch again. Today received your review and will reach out to you again. As far as the 19 minutes on hold when you called in we apologize. That rarely happens due to our computorized phone system to continue to alert the operator for customers on hold and to never leave them on hold for an extended amount of time. We thank you for alerting us of this so we can continue to better ourselves as we strive to satisfy our customers.
Honest and fair price. You don't feel intimidated and got a fair deal. They care after the sale.
