Awesome experience. Went in for an oil change and came out with new car. Nothing wrong with the other one. I just really loved the one on the sales floor

Buyer beware! Absolute scam dealership will lie and...

Buyer beware! Absolute scam dealership will lie and manipulate to get the deal! Walked into dealership for an oil change and saw a new car I was interested in asked to see about trading in my vehicle and was introduced to James the GSM was so excited to evaluate my trade in and the minute he came to me with the trade in value I should have known from there this was going downhill. My trade in was valued way over what I owed and I was excited to get into a new car. I was getting what I thought was a great deal. After telling James that I was rebuilding my credit and I didn’t NEED a new car but wanted one I asked him to only send my credit application to one company which he promised he would. After coming back to the dealership to handle the mess up I find out James never told the finance manager to only send to one company so I was blasted to 10 banks!!! 10 hard inquires added to my credit report without my acknowledgment! I was told no problem your deal is good to go here are the rates which included extended warranty and GAP insurance that I told him I did not want but was told by the finance manager I had to take so I dumbly agreeded. After leaving the dealership and talking to my mother and aunt who are both in the car business I find out everything I was told was a lie. I call the bank to find out if the extra items are a requirement for this bank to finance they tell me NO. At this point I go back to the dealership completely upset and ready to return this vehicle which I am basically told not possible until the moment I reveal to the finance manager the position both my aunt and mother hold at very reputable dealerships locally. The exact statement was “why didn’t you tell us your aunt and mothers were controllers” at that moment I was in shock basically the company is saying had we known you knew what we were doing we would of never screwed you. James is a scam for a manager and should be absolutely embarrassed at the way he treats his customers.

The people here were very helpful. They told me the maintenance on my car would be about an hour and a half, and that was very accurate. I will go back to Honda of Toms River.

Liars added $2,000 to m s r p then $1595 pre-delivery...

Liars added $2,000 to m s r p then $1595 pre-delivery charge on 2020 civic with 1809 miles on it. I asked for documentation with my signature on it,25 minutes later they show me a bogus document Timestamp proved my suspicions to correct. Will never step foot in that building against .
