Came to look at a specific car. One that ended having more issues than we expected. Tried to sell us a different car that I had already told them was out... of my price range. I was already pre-approved for a loan with another company. They seemed to think they could get me a better rate. And therefore onto that vehicle. After they finally agreed that I was right that other car wouldn't work for me. The doubled down on trying to sell mr the original car. We decided not to purchase, due to many cosmetic issues as well as some issues we heard when test driving, only to find out it was because the muffler was hanging on by a thread! They knew this already apparently and told us it would be taken care of before we purchased. I just couldn't trust a dealer that would let a car leave a lot for a test drive on that condition. I also don't think that was the only mechanical issue. We were never given accurate numbers for APR, just a base as I already had my pre-approval for them to work on. They said they wouldn't run my credit unless I decided to purchase. Needless to say, had a hard inquiry on my report when I got home. Dishonest dealership, I won't be back. I'm glad I trusted my gut feeling. This could have been SO much worse. I'll still be putting a complaint into the BBB and and Trans Union to get this removed otherwise, I do have a lawyer on retainer as part of a work perk that I, and will consult if I need to.
Came to this service to fix some minor problems and I really can say that I appreciate how they took care of me. I came to see if I can fix the wiper... liquid caps so that the water will hit the center of the windshield and it ended up with the problem solved and a good car wash(a detailed car was, which I really can say was on a high level) I met Cristina and Service manager - Randall who were nice, professional people and they really made my experience go very smooth, besides the fact they were very busy and had tons of problems on their head - they've found time for me. While they were taking care of my car I had a good loan car to solve my problems meanwhile they took care of my car in a very reasonable time. Hearing their discussions about other customers, I really can attest that they DO care about their customers ! I will be back on my scheduled appointments, because I really respect that if the appointment is scheduled at 10, at 10 there will be place for you and you won't hop off your day schedule !
I got my first lease ever at Boulder Hyundai, and it was a truly wonderful experience! I was met with expertise and care every step on the way, and I had... a thousand questions. Adam helped me negotiate an amazing deal on my Tucson, I've been driving it for a few months and I LOVE it, it's everything I hoped for. This was the third car dealer ship I visited that day, and he sold me by saying "take it home for the weekend and test it out". That has got to be a first. I had a great experience buying from this dealership which frankly surprised me. I was upside down on my trade - Boulder Hyundai had the car I wanted at... a good price. They worked up the price via emails - I did my homework to see if they were giving me a good deal. After all research was done I found I getting a good price for my trade - the new car was priced right and I made the deal. Could I have gotten a better price? Possibly and then again possibly not. All the costs - the new car's options - the very much lowered monthly payment was a green light for me. I talked to all the other Hyundai's dealers from Loveland to South Denver. I was pleased at the results. I am in my 60's and don't plan many more car purchases - this time I feel good about the deal - good about the dealership and don't waste your time shopping any other Hyundai store.
