I was able to get decent trade on old car and bought new car quick and simple. They guided me through the process since this was my second car first time... solo. Great service when I went there enjoyed the process not bad.
I’ve been going to Carmel motors for years and I’ve always had nothing but excellent experiences. They always have a great variety of high... end cars.
I don’t usually leave reviews for places but this time I felt it was well deserved. I came in looking for a car that would suit my needs and right away... was approached and helped. I talked to Chris, very straight forward and helpful, and within a short amount of time he helped me pick out the exact car I needed. I would strongly recommend it, the staff were friendly and to the point, making it a great experience.
***AVOID THIS PLACE OR TAKE A MECHANIC WITH YOU!!!***Continuation from previous review... now I find out that the car has front end suspension issues.... I took it to a dealership and was told that the tire rods and ball joints need to be replaced on both sides and it came with a $5,000 price tag! xxx! And come to think about it, i mentioned the noise to Mike and he basically told me that noise happens over time and he will see if the mechanic can squirt some oil up there to fix the noise...needless to say, that didn't work. He sold me a piece of junk and he knew it.
I went with my neighbor to purchase a vehicle at Carmel Motors. At first, there seemed seem to be a great deal of confusion about the car itself. The salesman,... Mike, was quick to offer two or three alternatives. My neighbor ended up settling on a vehicle which has turned out to be nothing but a money pit. Carmel Motors clearly knew the condition of the vehicle when it was sold, and yet did not disclose anything contrary to what they will tell you. After taking the car to a BMW dealership, it was apparent that the vehicle had recently been in for another inspection. Basically, another buyer from Carmel Motors apparently had the car for a day, and returned it somehow. My neighbor has not ruled out legal action against these people. I would strongly caution anyone about entering into any type of sales agreement with these people.
Cars usually are overpriced from beginning. Cars seldom detailed and dirty. North end of car lot display looks trashy. Sales people do not get back
Bought a used car around a month ago from this dealer. I've waited to post my response until I had gone through the entire process. From communicating... with Steve when I contacted the dealer, to their offering to drive the vehicle to me to show me the vehicle, I was impressed with the whole deal. I've recently got my title work and it came in a timely fashion. I'd recommend trying these guys out if you were looking for a car and they have what you want.
Cars are junk. As is means you have to pay for a lot of repairs right off the bat Carmel motors won't fix what they sold you knowing it was a lemon.
Honest and fair. Best car buying experience I have had....40 years and 35 cars. Highly recommend this dealership. Great selection and very upfront... about condintion and history.
The actual car buying experience was fine... it was after i bought the vehicle where the issue started. I hadn't even made it home before the check... engine light came on. I took it back to Carmel Motors the next day and was told it was because the gas cap wasnt on all the way. They basically cleared the light and sent me on my way (I was told that the check engine light went off as soon as he turned the gas cap til it clicked, which I know better than to believe that, but whatever). So im driving home again and guess what, the check engine light came back on. So now I'm in day 3 of having this check engine light staring at me when i drive. So, I guess im supposed to ride around with the check engine light on, believing that its because the gas cap isn't all the way on? After it was tightened when I took it back up there...? Might I add, I hadn't put gas in it since I had the vehicle... guess that's the risk we take when buying a "As-Is" , no warranty vehicle. Good luck.
