Bought a certified pre owned vehicle from Marion GM. After getting the vehicle home It was later found to clearly have been in some kind of wreck. I was... given a carfax before buying the vehicle that did indicate "damage." I was lead to believe it was just something minor and that it had been taken care of. Very deceptive sales practices in my opinion. Guess I should have looked the vehicle over better. After having the vehicle back at Marion GM two different times in the first few months of owning it, my problems finally seemed to be fixed. They did do their due diligence, I will give them that. My issue is that they sold me a certified pre owned vehicle (you pay a premium for that title bc it supposed to be the best of the best used vehicles) that was in a wreck and misrepresented the vehicle when I purchased it. I did try taking the vehicle to a differnt GM dealership. They saw it was in a wreck right away. They would not do any work in the area that had been wrecked, claiming GM would not accept a warranty claim in this situation(I also purchased an extended warranty when I bought the vehicle).....Does this mean I have to take it back to Marion GM everytime I have a problem with anything from here on out? That is unacceptable. For what it's worth, this buying experience was not pleasant. I'd look elsewhere to purchase a vehicle.
Update on my previous review.After speaking with the management in the sales department we got things worked out on key fob I am more satisfied with the... dealership than previously.
After purchase was complete asked the dealer for the keys to the truck. I expected 2 keys as most people would, and I only got 1. Dealer told me that was... the only one. I never thought to ask about that since I assumed they would have 2, and they of course never mentioned it. I am now stuck with buying a $200 key fob for a vehicle that should have come with 2 already. I understand that used vehicles are going to have some defects, but after owning it for just a couple of days the ones I am noticing and pricing (i.e. missing front valance and door panel pins broken) are adding up quickly. I spoke to the dealership 3 days after purchase and was told that basically since it wasn't caught during the sales process I'm stuck with the problems even though they were clearly there before purchase. I have purchased from many other dealers who would fix issues found quickly at no cost to maintain a good relationship with the costumer. I have unfortunately accepted the defects. I should have inspected the truck better during the sales process, but the key fob should have been brought up or taken care of in my opinion. I would not shop at this dealership again.
don't want my entire review repaid items not taken in for over $500 then didn't get out of town had the same issue I went into the shop for, got me good... went in for a transmission issue they repaired coil packs and plugs not needed the car ran perfect but the tranny was slipping took it back the transmission mechanic drove it a mile and said it needs a torch converter after I spent cash for a repair it didn't need and made no difference. very sad how many seniors do they get a year like this, when you go to the Dr, with a sore throat they don't do a procto exam do they, I told the service department this didn't need the coil pack it was running to good and no engine lights on, Mike convinced me this was the problem so I reluctenly told him to fix it he said that would repair the tranny and like I told him that wasn't the problem and I was right it didn't do anything to repair it, it cost over $500 for nothing and then another over $2000 to fix the tranny as I said it was,
If you base your decisions off of reviews like I tend to do I hope this helps. When I started looking for a new used vehicle I searched online at multiple... locations and came across Marion GMC and made the decision to make the drive up to buy. Like any used vehicle purchase you take a risk not knowing what your getting into and unfortunately before I made it home (over 100mi away) I started having some issues. I immediately called and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Not only did this dealership send a rollback to pick up my vehicle to take back to repair they brought me a brand new 2020 model to drive in the meantime. They maintained contact and kept me informed on the entire process. This dealership and it’s employees are amazing and more than accommodating, they will go above and beyond to make sure you have a quality experience.

Very friendly staff.....great waiting area. They can always get me in for an oil change when I need one! The service department has very nice employees!
Justin was great. My wife and I bought a used Chrysler Pacifica and the entire process was seamless. Justin was very helpful, showing us the features... of the van, along with giving us a good deal on the transaction.
