Hertz Car Sales St. Louis

Damaged goods! Bought a 2019 Nissan Sentra there few months ago. I felt that something is not right with while driving ( it was pulling , and it was rattling and shaking) so scheduled an appointment to do full diagnostics and bumper to bumper inspection at Nissan dealership. Hertz had safety and emissions “done “ when i bought a car. Not sure how it passed because , when i took that car to Nissan dealership, i found out that it had bad transmission ( 2000 dollar cost) , it had bent wheel( 400 dollar cost) and it had a chunk missing out of one tire( had to get new tires). I could not take the car back to Hertz because you can only return it with in 7 days. It took me longer to get i to do diagnostics and a real inspection. Hertz knew that the car was not in a good shape, yet still sold it as if it was. If they did proper inspection and diagnostics before selling it, they knew that it has problems. So, they are just selling damaged cars as if they are good. After that, i had to wait fir my title for 2 months so i could not pay my taxes on it. Once i finally got tittle, i had to redo safety and emissions( it cost me money) , and had to pay fine for not registering that car within 30 days. I was assured by Hertz that i will be reimbursed for it with in 2 weeks. Needless to say, its been few months and i heard nothing from them nor did i get my money back. This was by far the worse experience ever of buying a car. Staff was rude and clearly they are not trustworthy and dishonest. I do not reccomend buying a car from them. I definitely will Not make that mistake ever again.

On Saturday 9/14. We made a good decision buying a used car from St Louis Hertz. The staff was very friendly, concerned, and helpful. Expect a few minor scratches on the these 2 to 3 year old cars but, you save about 1/3 off the price of buying a new car. Still waiting for our sales tax check which was financed into our car loan but, they did say it would take about 3 weeks to receive. We should get the check before our temps expire. Five Stars for this car sales.

Highly recommend coming to hertz to buy a car. The salesman I worked with was Tom. Not only do they have a wide selection of vehicles, welcoming environment, and an outstanding team. As picky and Indecisive as I am. They took the time to make sure I was taken care of. They had a few vehicles sent from other locations for me to overview and on top of that they definitely hold their word! So, give them a shot! Greatly, appreciate their service!

Sometimes difficult to get return calls. 2nd key fob is often not available and is not guaranteed after the sale. Prices are decent for a no-haggle experience.

Marshawn and Ken were very easy to work with, making the buying process very smooth. The car we purchased was presented very well. Will not hesitate to recommend this dealer friends and family who are in the market for a well-priced vehicle

Daughters car was totaled by hail and suddenly looking for a replacement. Stumbled onto hertz in stl and Tom. Great experience and price on used Ford Focus. Very accommodating as we were traveling 3 hours for purchase. Would recommend and will consider them for future purchases

The staff were a pleasure to work with in the purchase process. Greg would reply to my questions online in a timely manner and when we arrived at the sales office he was there to greet us and show us the vehicle. Jeremy made the process very easy and answered all our questions. We were especially grateful for the Military discount Hertz offers. We will suggest Hertz Car Sales to our friends and family.
