Dan Kuske was extraordinary. The service department arranged for me to have a big car as a loaner so I could do some shopping while my car was being serviced,... then helped me transfer a MASSIVE amount of purchases into my car for the trip home, including an 80-pound cooler! When the tire pressure light came back on during my trip home they arranged to pick up my car, leave a loaner, complete the repair and return my car to me. I got a progress report phone call every day. Superlative service.
I purchased my 2020 Volvo v60 here. Scott was friendly and knew the car specs in and out. It was easy to trade in my 2013 Volvo and I received more than... a fair value on that (hint it was very clean which helps with all maintenance done and new tires). This new car needed a recall issue addressed and it was done in a timely manner as have all the repairs I've had done here. They know VOLVO very well.
Easy sales and finance experience and awesome service team. Brake repair under extended warantee and oil changes done in a timely and efficient manner.... car came back washed. Friendly all around team.
Zac made the whole process so easy and simple. I didn't have to go to the dealership at all or wait most of the day like I've had to before at other dealers.... He even delivered the paperwork and the car and picked up my trade in.
In my opinion I would not go to this dealer unless you have checked your credit fist, they are liars and are completely incompetent, or worse I WILL BE... REPORTING THEM TO THE FTC, they make you walk home if the deal isn’t approved BE VERY Careful here at this dealer. 22 hard inquiries on my credit report and 9 on my cosigner, they put mu information on a unsecured email account and I believe me and my cosigners information was released to hackers and or I believe this was an attempt to destroy my credit to get me into a higher interest rate. 1. I received a flier from Kiefer that went on and on about how I was pre-approved, the flyer had a number to call. I called the number and it said I was approved for 22,500 which was right in the price range I was looking for because I had a leased vehicle that I needed to return. 2. I called Kieffer and made an appointment for 10:00am Saturday, September 21st It was approximately 15 mins late due to the traffic going into Corvallis. 3. 6 hours later I was told they were still working on the financing, during this 6 hours I was asked if I wanted a sedan, a used car and everything else I didn’t want. I said no I want the rouge like I came in here with. They said they were having problems with Financing and they loaned me the car to take home. Although it was a nice car it was $13,000.00 more than what I wanted. 4. Now I am starting to have issues, Monday morning on the 23 of September I was asked to provide my mothers information for Cosigning. I replied that I needed to call her and confirm. 5. They asked me to send my mothers information to a email account that I later found out was a personal email account. Which was very weird. Later that evening I asked what was going on and never got a reply 6. Later in the night I received a request for more information, that was provided, the following morning I received a reminder that I needed to bring the loaner car back that day on the 24th 7. On the 24th I text and asked what the status was around 1:pm I received a request to have my Freeze lifted off of my Equifax report, I called Equifax and had it removed I text Kieffer to inform them of that. 8. Since I was supposed to bring the loaner back that night on the 24th I drove to Kieffer in Corvallis from Salem Oregon. I asked to speak with the sales rep and the person out front said he was familiar with the situation took the keys from me and said have a nice day? Didn’t even offer me a ride home or even to the bus stop, I had to walk over a mile to a hotel wait for a bus/cab pay $69.00 bucks just to get to Salem airport, Then I had to walk 10 miles home in the dark. 9. Since the battery on my phone died and I had no way to charge it I had no way to call for help, then every pay phone I encountered while walking ten miles home was busted. 10. Thanks, Kiefer 11. When my battery got charged the next morning, I did receive a text for me to call the GM, but at that point I am not sure what he was going to do 12. I told Kiefer I was done and wasn’t very happy. 13. The next morning, I received a text and said that the deal was all approved and what time did I want to pick up the car, I replied immediately at 4:30pm. I was told I dint have to walk there this time and that Kiefer would get me. They asked for my address and I left work early to meet them. 14. Later in the afternoon I was once again asked to have the fraud alert lifted, I told her I have but I will call and find out what’s going on, I texted back at 2:27 and confirmed that it was lifted 15. At 3:00pm I text and said I was home and waiting for my ride to Kiefer, later that evening I was asked to check Experian, I promptly checked and had it removed. 16. This Tuesday the first of October I again asked for status, I was told they were following up but were tied up with an emergency. I responded back hoping everything was OK. 17. Its now the 4th of October and I still don’t have a car, Kiefer or Nissan just got done processin
Settled on a monthly payment and agreed. This was with the head guy there (or so he said he was). Signing the papers seemed rushed. I ended up with a higher... monthly payment than I had agreed to. Yes, it is my fault that I signed it, but there were so many papers to sign and I trusted their word. Pretty slick on their part. I won't trust them on anything.
I loved my 2016 XC90, but there were far to may issues. I had it in for warranty work way to much & it always took forever to get my car back. The last... time is took 4 weeks! I got it back and it still had shifting issues & they back was torn out & they didn't even put it back together. I really wanted it to work out. The car is comfortable & I loved all the great options. But it's not worth the headache I traded it in immediately for a new Range Rover. Friendly service department & sales people. I would recommend a larger Volvo dealership, perhaps they would be more efficient. I wish I could give a better review.
Doing the routine 70000 mile maintenance that the car was brought in for and returning the car in a timely manner rather than taking from 7:45 am until... 5 :00 pm to do a job that should have taken no more than 3 hours. When the car was returned the maintenance had not been done and I had to bring the car back the next day to get the job done.
When in Corvallis for business, I use Kiefer Corvallis Volvo for service and repairs ! Courteous, honest, and caring -- other Volvo dealership service... centers have been quite lacking and unpleasant.
Ask for Richard!! I usually cringe when I go to the car dealership... this was a first time fantastic experience. Richard has no pressure sales, I genuinely... felt like he had my best interest at heart. Very impressed with management, finance and the overview Stephanie provided me with on all the bells and whistles of my new Volvo.
