    The sales and service people were all very nice. We had an issue with our truck passing by on HWY 71. They got us in and while we were waiting my husband talked with the sales people about a new Jeep..We did not buy that day but we will buy and service our truck there from now on..

    My review of June 17th explained my frustration in having taken my new Jeep in for the forth time for an engine noise, only to be met with a condescending owner/manager who later replied that he wants to talk about my experience. He sure didn't want to talk about it that day. FOLLOW-UP: the following week I took my Jeep to a dealer in Leavenworth. I honked at the service door and they motioned me to drive in. The service manager was sitting on a stool near where I pulled the vehicle in. As soon as I stepped out, he said "sounds like you have a water pump problem". I told him I was impressed with the fast diagnosis that didn't even require him to lift the hood, and he said "this is a known issue on some of these Wranglers, any decent dealer should have recognized it on the spot". They replaced the water pump under warranty and I have had no issues whatsoever since then. This confirmed the extent of my terrible service experience in Platte City. There is simply no place in business for an "owner" to take a defensive position on a terrible service experience and then invite me to leave his lot. Especially since I bought the vehicle there. I have been a Platte County resident for over 25 years, and was a former business owner for 10 years, back when "small town service" meant something. Rest assured, Speedway Motors will get my next Jeep purchase.

    Great turn around time, and very friendly to deal with. In addition, they were able to research my truck's issue/ and factory power train warranty so that I wasn't out of pocket any money. I wasn't really even thinking about this since I bought the truck used, and was over the miles for the 36,000 basic warranty. They certainly helped me immensely during this stressful time for me... Thanks!

    Took my Jeep Wrangler in for diagnosis/repair of an engine squeal today for the FOURTH time under warranty. (I bought the Jeep new there). The previous 3 times they threw parts at it to no avail, and damaged my front bumper in the process. Today I was greeted in the parking lot by a guy in a white shirt who immediately began to tell me how difficult it is to diagnose engine noises and "it's not like it's a broken part that we can fix easily". I explained this was the fourth time we had been in for the same issue, but was met with non-stop excuses and a condescending tone. He then informed me he was one of the owners! Things escalated from there and I finally shut the hood and said "I'm done with you". He refused to give me his name or business card. Absolutely the WORST customer experience I have ever had in my life at a car dealership.

    Nice out of the way dealership. Nothing like the big city dealers. Tom (our salesman) didn't try to push anything on us that we didn't want. He gave us space when we want to discuss things privately.Just walked in and bought a car at a good price.

    We recently purchased a Jeep Cherokee from this dealership and it was a very pleasant, no pressure, no hassle, stress free experience. Our salesman Tom was great! He was VERY knowledgable of all the cars he showed us and really seemed to want to find us the car that we wanted, not one he wanted to sell us. He took the time to go over the details of the car and never seemed rushed or hurried to wrap up the sale. Lee, the owner, was also very helpful and pleasant to work with. We live in Liberty, but would make the drive to Platte City again for our next vehicle!
