They believe that they assume title if you come in for certain required repairs. And a loaner may or may not be offered to you to use to get to work on... Monday or whenever. Do not trust them.
This is an update to a review I posted a few days ago. I finally got in touch with the Kia sales manager and got him to clean the cigarette smell out... of my car. That was 3 days ago and I'm hopeful as it seems to have worked. That's the only positive comment I can make. I asked and he agreed to replace the broken vent in the car. This is the front heating and a/c vent. I originally asked about this a couple of days after I bought the car. 3 weeks went by and I heard nothing, when I finally spoke to him, he said, it was never ordered. But he says, he would take care of it. When I brought the car in for the smoke smell issue, they were supposed to fix the vent. The service guy didn't know anything about that or even cleaning the cigarette smell out of the car, so I had my doubts. I get back to the dealer later that day to pickup my car and go to test the vent and it comes apart in my hand. They used crapy crazy glue or something equally cheap and tried to pass it off as if they'd replaced the vent as they told me they would! I again talked to the sales manager and he told me the certified car only fixed mechanical issues. However, he told me he would order a new one and cover the cost! So that was my expectation. My problem is that I hate being lied to and treated like I'm an idiot! If he wasn't going to fix it, then he shouldn't have said he would! He said, to call him on Wednesday, which I did. Still waiting to hear back from him. My comment is still the same. Go buy you car from a different dealer. One last thing. While I was there waiting to pickup my car, the person in front of me was also ranting about how rude they are and how horrible their service was. Just some additional reinforcement.
So I bought a certified used Kia from Gary Lang Kia about a month ago. The car looked nice and had low mileage. After I got the car home I noticed a... few problems. A few things were broken, one of the vents, front grill was lose, and I found the cabin air filter was filthy. However, the worst thing was that after a few days I noticed the car interior stinks of cigarette smoke! Being asthmatic, this is a huge issue for me. I do not feel that they had any business selling this car as a certified car! At this point I've spoken to the Kia used car sales manager several times and gotten almost nothing but lip service and the run around. To date, he's replaced the cabin air filter. However, when I called Monday, after waiting 3 weeks for the replacement vent (interior) he said he'd pay for I was told it was never ordered! Also, for the cigarette smell, he previously promised to pay for the interior to be cleaned if the vent cleaner he suggested I try didn't do it. Needless to say it didn't work. I have now asked him to clean the interior; vents, upholstery, and ceiling of the car. He told me he had to make an appt with the company who does the cleaning. That was Monday. Today is Thursday and I haven't heard back from him. He doesn't seem to want to return my phone calls. I mean, how long does it take to order a part and make an appt! I should have at least heard back from the sales manager one way or the other. This is the second car, first used car, I've bought from Gary Lang, but it will definitely be the last! If I could have given zero stars, I would have! I would tell anyone thinking of buying a used car from them to think twice. Then go somewhere else.
Josh and the whole Gary Lang crew gave me an amazing overall experience. I got the car I wanted at a price I could afford.
Garrett, my sales person, was very helpful. Was knowledgeable and answered all questions immediately. He was also a fun guy to deal with. In fact, everyone... I dealt with was more than satisfactory. Love my new Kia Soul.
Very happy with your dealership. The people are friendly, informative and was I pleased with my visit to Gary Lang Kia. Love my SOUL 2016. The salesperson's... who sold me my car, his name is Leo and he was great too.
Ed and staff were very welcoming and patient during our car buying decision. I would recommend this dealership to all. It is worth the drive!
Good things with Gary Lang The sales person was the best and gave me a good deal. This is the 4th car I bought from Gary Lang all new.
We all dread walking onto a car dealership lot do we not? Well, your search and stress will disappear if you get over to Gary Lang. I actually started... by speaking to Jerry who was very kind and gave it to me straight as far as credit, payments, fees -you name it. I then actually used the on-line application process first which Jerry gets and calls you. After that, we drove over and Ed Chambers came out who already knew I started the process. Ed was super kind, funny and very understanding to any situation. If there is a way- Ed will find it. They are fast and care about your experience. When you do find your new vehicle, you get to take pictures with it. Ed also will go over every button so that you feel safe and confident. Good Luck!! They won't let you down~
Jordan was so helpful with the entire process. He was kind, and very knowledgeable. He was straightforward with me on everything and he didn’t try and... scam like other sales people do. I would recommend Gary Lang dealership to everyone I know. I was treated with the upmost respect.
