I have been going to Serra for over 12 years and I have

I have been going to Serra for over 12 years and I have been overcharged for years. Dont use this dealership. I will not be coming back. I was charged 249 dollars because Technician did not want to work on my car until it was detailed. I have spent over 8 000 dollars this year alone at this service department. I am paying good money for a service it isn't there business what I have in my car. Just getting over on women!

We are retracting our 2 negative reviews from April 2022

We are retracting our 2 negative reviews from April 2022 in regard to the leaking windshield on the Equinox. Our daugther contacted the dealership and was fortunate enough to speak with someone very professional, who was kind enough to listen to the issues she had. Although the initial experience she had was very frustrating they seemed genuinely concerned and assured her that they strive for excellent customer satisfaction. The matter has been resolved and we appreciate it very much!

Truck

We got to dealership earlier than we were supposed to but got waited on quickly. We drove the truck bought it they cleaned it up and all of this was done in a short amount of time and we were on out way back to Kentucky. Gotta give a shout out to Gab White our salesman!

Took our 2016 equinox in leaking water.

Took our 2016 equinox in leaking water. Picked it up paid the bill and it still leaked. Took it back they said it was repaired and it was raining and still dripping inside. Called Safelite and they repaired it with one visit. We were told all the dealership did was smear some calk on it. They Charged A Little OVER $900.00 AND DID NOTHING TO STOP THE LEAKING WINDSHIELD

Honesty & Pride in your work are truly Lacking at this

Honesty & Pride in your work are truly Lacking at this establishment! Our daughter lives 1000 miles away from us so she is at the mercy of others if she has an issue with her car. We recommended she take her car to a dealership when she noticed water leaking above the driver's seat. Serra employees claim they re-sealed the windshield and she was charged $945.00. After the next rain, it was leaking again, they claimed to have sealed it a second time, but it was dripping when she picked it up. They claim it is because it is an 'after market' windshield. If 'after market' deems that a dealership cannot adequately make a repair they should be honest about it from the beginning.

Won't honor factory warranty

Do NOT use Serra Chevrolet service department for ANY work. Horrible, horrible experience. Bought a used 2020 Chevrolet (not from Serra) March of 2021. Still under factory warranty. A couple of months after I bought it, stereo started going blank, black screen, volume controls wouldn't work. It was a sporadic issue that was impossible to pinpoint when it would happen. In December of 2021, I had an aftermarket amp put in it. Installed by a professional car audio facility in town. In January of 2022, the stereo acted up once again as I was close to the dealership, I stopped in immediately as they told me "yes, these stereos have been known to have an issue". They ordered me a new stereo, scheduled an appointment to install. Once they found out it had an aftermarket amp (installed 7 months after it started acting up), they would not honor the warranty, and would not put in the new stereo. They tried to tell me there was a "charred", "burnt" smell behind the panel of where the amplifier wires were ran... Needless to say, I was very upset. I pulled the panel off myself, no charred smell, no burnt anything. They are trying to blame the amp... It was shorting out a month after buying the truck in March of 2021 (with no amp!). I called not long after it started happening, they said they would "have to see it happen". The technician lied about the "charred", "burnt" smell. It boils down to they just didn't want to fix it and used that as an excuse not too. I will be filling a compliant with the Tn. Department of Consumer affairs, the BBB and will try to contact our local investigative news team. At this point, I wouldn't let them put gas in my vehicle... 3 cars bought from this dealership in the past. Never again. Stay away from Serra Chevrolet Service Department.

4,275.58 in six months and problems not fixed

Just gonna leave this here without an opinion. We have spent $ 4,275.58 from March 4, 2021to Sept 10, 2021. 3/4/21 Engine light running rough, $801.32, but then had to be towed in on 4/1 having driven total 500 miles due to same issue and engine eventually not starting. Also 4/1/2021, wiper blades inoperable ($454.33). Back again but told loose nut. Back again 9/1 (received car back 9/10for this repair) for new windshield wiper arm. 7/17/2001 ABS repaired due to light on with 76,915 miles at a cost of $786.76. 9/1/2021, when picked up car for wiper arm, never left dealership before told service manager light on again but was not when dropped it off to them. Was told by service manager, something could have eaten through wires and they would have to write a ticket. Just leaving the truth here. Additionally, the car has been in there possession for two separate times for a combination of 28 days. The tickets on the receipts do not match the true dates which can be verified by voice mail as well as receipts. Draw your own conclusions. Just sharing facts.

This place is run by clowns. Took my vehicle to trade in, vehicle was under three years old, has everything you could want on a car and they tried to give me eight thousand under KBB trade in value. Used cars and trucks cost more than new and these clowns are still trying to steal peoples cars. So needless to say Alvin lost a sale and I bought a beautiful 6.2 Silverado Trail Boss at Freeland Chevrolet… Thanks for being clowns my new truck is so much nicer than anything on your lot.
