    So I went to Stevenson Mazda in Jacksonville, NC to test drive the new 2016 Mazda Miata MX5. John, the salesman initially contacted me after my inquiry into the vehicle via online. He sent me a very, very "aggressive" offer that further "encouraged" me to stop in and test drive that beautiful machine. Chris (another salesman), was very pleasant and nonchalantly asked me if I wanted to test drive the Miata and gave me the opportunity to drive it for about 2 hours since John was out with another customer. No pressure and no hassle once we got back from our test drive. We explored my options in regards to the price of the Miata. It was absolutely no pressure, no "heavy handedness", no "hard sell" from John. He offered an outstanding price, substantially lower than the MSRP/sticker price. We only "negotiated" twice; down/monthly payment and value of my trade-in; a 2004 350Z Nissan Touring Roadster. Not only did they accept my asking price of the trade in value of the 350Z, they accepted my renegotiation of the down/monthly payment! WOW!!! (obviously this is a positive review since I got an outstanding deal!!!) I wanted to say that not only John, Chris, but also the other Chris, the Manager, were very pleasant and very cooperative to say the least. I walked in wanting to test drive the Miata and ended up trading my used vehicle and purchasing the Miata. I was speechless, speechless because i got an outstanding deal with no hassle, no haggle, and no "surprises"!!!! My wife and I had lunch with John (he treated) while they were finishing up with the paperwork. I asked him if he could get with the "Finance Guy" and let them know I wasn't interested in any "additional warranties" and no "up selling" when I meet with him. Would't you know it, they honored my request!!!! All the final paperwork was there for my signature and that was that!!! One of the "easiest" and the most pleasant experience in buying a brand new car!!! I want to thank John, Chris, and Chris for a great experience! Will I go back to them if I or anyone else wanted a recommendation? I sure would/will in a heart beat!!! Thanks gentlemen!!!! Very, very, very happy customer. Mine you, it was Halloween; purchased a brand new, gorgeous Miata and still made it home in time to greet the trick or treaters!!!! This experience was all treat and absolutely NO TRICK!!!
