My wife and I had previously leased a car from City World
My wife and I had previously leased a car from City World Toyota on Boston Road, and unfortunately, it was a horrible experience. As our lease was ending, we decided to give them another chance, hoping things had changed — but it was still the worst experience we’ve ever had at a dealership. We even tried the Toyota dealership in Yonkers; while it wasn’t as bad, the customer service still left much to be desired. Very hesitantly, we gave Fordham Toyota a try — and to our surprise, it turned out to be the BEST decision we’ve made. From the moment we walked in, our sales representative, Jaidy Cruz, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. There was zero pressure from her, and she was completely transparent throughout the process. She actually listened to what we wanted, unlike other places that just try to upsell or rush you. We made it clear that we didn’t want any surprise fees (which we dealt with at City World), and she respected that fully — even making sure to relay it to German Flores in the Finance department. German was just as incredible — down-to-earth, friendly, and someone who truly made us feel at home. It was the first time we’ve ever encountered someone in finance who treated us like family. We told him we didn’t want our new lease payments to be too high and preferred to stay around where we currently were. Not only did he honor that, but he actually got our payments lower than what we were paying on our previous car — so much so, my wife was speechless (which says a lot!). What stood out even more was the atmosphere. The entire staff at Fordham Toyota treated one another with kindness and unity — something we’ve never seen at any other dealership. It felt like a true team, and that energy made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire Fordham Toyota team for making this process smooth, honest, and truly pleasant. Inquired about a vehicle they have had since October.
Inquired about a vehicle they have had since October. I was told by manager it sold. Then it was available again so I asked for more photos and was told they’d get some and send them. They never did. I told them I’d likely take it. They asked how I’d pay for it. I told them cash and could drive down now. Didn’t hear back from anyone then they called and said some else bought it. After being for sale since October I offered to buy it and someone else did too? Something isn’t right. Car is still showing as still for sale.
