My experience at Lester Glen was excellent! I worked with Greg and he was professional, knowledgeable, honest and helpful start to finish. Prior to coming... into Lester Glen, I had been to 5 car dealerships in two days and was super stressed out. Greg was easy to work with and the environment was pleasant and stress-free.
One thing I never look forward to is buying a car, that all changed for me on December 23. Frank from beginning to end made my experience perfect. Frank... is very knowledgeable and patient and most of all no pressure. He took the time to explain all the features of the vehicle that I wanted to purchase which was a Sonata. I felt very comfortable and would recommend everyone I know to Frank. What an asset he is to Lester Glenn.
I went to Lester Glenn Buick/GMC to look for a full size SUV. I dealt with Paul and he was very knowledgeable about the used vehicles on the lot. I also... dealt with the manager Craig who was very pleasant and really helped me with my needs and got me into the perfect SUV. I did the financing with Jerry and he was not pushy at all and gave me loads of options to consider and he really seemed like he cared. All I can say is thank you to all three reps of a caring company. I definitely received the experience I was hoping for.
We had a wonderful experience buying our car there at an affordable price. Paid all the extra money for the warranties and special packages so the car... would be covered and protected. After purchase the car was making a weird noise. My husband knew what the noise was but decided to call and see if it was covered under warranty. of course they tell him yes that part is covered under warranty and to schedule an appointment to replace it. He schedules an appointment brings it in. They take the car apart and then tell him that it’s not covered under warranty and the part would be $250 plus two hours of labor. What? He told you exactly what the part was and my husband said forget it I can change the part for way less. They tell him it’s $150 for the labor and diagnostic. A complete rip off and absurd amount of money when we were told it was covered and my husband told them exactly what he part was! I will never ever bring my car there again and will never recommend repair of parts or purchasing a warranty from them. They word everything in their warranty so sneaky so they make a ton of money. So the several thousands of dollars I spend on the warranty and nonsense was a total waste of money! They should be ashamed of themselves!

Went to Lester Glen and they worked miracles to get me into myGenesis. Everyone went above and beyond to make this transaction. Went into finance with... Al Machado and he was a pleasure to deal with, no pressure and made sure everything was explained and we were happy by time we left. When I go to a service center for repair I expect the problem to be determined before I pay for something I might not need. My Genius coupe was not starting... intermittently. I never knew when this was going to happen. When this happened, I got the car started and drove to Lester Glenn. When I pressed the Start-Stop button, the car failed to shut down. Again this was not happening all the time. I went into the service area and explained the problem. I was told that the cost to diagnose would be $145. I agreed and proceed to wait for about ninety minutes until they could look at the car. I was also told that the last time I was in for service was in 2016. Really unnecessary, what does that have to do with anything? Not that it matters, but as a Vietnam Vet, and an American I know I have the right to make my own choices. After diagnosing they determined that they would replace the Start-Stop button. The next day I was called to pick up my car. I paid after I asked if there was a veteran discount. They dropped the bill by about 15%. I had to ask for this discount. It started and I drove home. Two days later the same problems started again. I called the dealer and spoke to a Mr. Michael Kelly, after some heated exchanges, he agreed to refund me an additional $50. Pretty silly if the problem is still there. That's when I was asked if I wanted the work they did to be free. I was told that his people have to be paid for the time spent fixing my car. Again I pay all my bills and all I expect is some degree of honesty in return, the price has nothing to do with it. I feel I paid $360. for nothing. I'm sure if this review is ever posted, Mr. Kelly will dispute what I am posting. P.S. I spoke to a Craig at Hyundai Consumers Affairs in California, and he listed but was no help at all. Also took my concerns to Ocean County Consumer Affairs. I'm told that nothing can be done as it's a what I say and what they say situation.

We have spoken with our service management team and they were able... to provide us with a number of details regarding your situation. When you brought in your vehicle and we inspected it, we were able to verify your concern and offered a course of action for repair. We provided you with our diagnosis findings and gave you a price and estimate for the repairs. You authorized those repairs and we went ahead and performed them as necessary. We replaced the push button assembly, performed any and all programming that was needed, and the fault codes were reviewed and cleared. We also provided you with the old part as requested. Your vehicle was noticeably working upon pickup as noted by you and our staff. In regards to the military discount - nothing was ever communicated to us prior to you paying the bill that the discount should be applied so we had no knowledge of your veteran status. Of course, once we found out, we gave you a 15% military discount instead of the standard 10% as a gesture of good will. Throughout your visit, we provided you with a loaner vehicle free of charge, which we were not required to do since your vehicle is out of warranty. We can say with confidence that we went above and beyond to ensure your experience was as smooth as possible and we are sorry if you feel otherwise. We have been in touch with the Ocean County BBB and have sent them the details of your visit. As I walked through the front door, I was allowed to browse for a few minutes before I was approached by Mike T. After a friendly hello, he allowed me... to continue looking at cars in the showroom. I appreciated that a great deal. He the asked me some basic questions and then we sat down to discuss different models, options, etc... never once pressuring me. After selecting a vehicle, and a price, Frank S. came over, introduced himself, then discussed some pricing concerns I had. There was no B.S. A few minutes later we agreed upon a price. Throughout this process, both Mike and Frank were true professionals. Finally, Anthony M. entered the picture and completed the financing. Once again, a friendly and very knowledgeable professional. This was an awesome car buying experience. I will recommend all friends to Mike T. and the team at Lester Glen Hyundai.

After visiting a competitor dealership, I decided to go to Lester Glenn to see if they could match or beat the previous offer. I explained my situation... to Mike and he went straight to management to discuss and provide me with figures and options. They worked with me to choose the vehicle trim that best suited my needs and budget. After some back and forth, we agreed on a price and shook on the deal. All of this while I had my two-year-old toddler by my side - thank goodness for the popcorn machine! Mike handled all of the paperwork and phone calls while I entertained my little one. I then went to sign the final documents in the office and left with my new car shortly after. The entire team was very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Lester Glenn to anyone looking for a new car.

From the moment I walked in the door at Lester Glenn I felt at ease. NO high pressure. I knew what I wanted and Frank understood that. Frank A. was... my salesman and had absolutely the best car buying experience. I had a million questions and they were answered without judgement (not always the case when a woman is buying a car alone) even though a couple of my questions might have been considered silly. We went out to the lot to look at what was in stock but the Lime Twist I had my heart set on was not available. He took the time to go through the computer to see when one in that color was going to be in. I was pretty lucky in that respect too! I picked up my new car today and even though it was raining it didn't dampen my experience in the least. I proudly rang that bell on the way out the door and was proud to have my pic taken with Frank with my cool new ride! Thanks Frank. I'll be sending anyone who asks for a recommendation to you.
