Overall Pleasant Experience

Purchased a 2013 Camaro ZL1 convertible. We agreed to a deal Friday morning and Nick made special accommodations to meet me on Saturday to take delivery. I flew into Indianapolis Saturday morning. He had all the paperwork ready to go. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and headed on my drive back to Chicago. The car was exactly as stated, I have never purchased a vehicle sight unseen and was slight nervous. From my experience I can highly recommend this dealership.

POOR SERVICE! Everything else was normal!

Overheated My Lotus Esprit's Engine

The suspension work was good but they forgot to secure the coolant header tank which resulted in a very bad engine overheat on a hot summer day. I wouldn't have minded if they took responsibility for it, instead of sticking me with the bill. In summary they seem to have good customer service for minor incidents but if they royally screw up you'll be responsible. Good customer service is not free coffee or other minor things. People bring their cars to professionals to have piece of mind that if the professional makes a mistake they will fix it.

Invitation to drive an Evora 400... at Putnam Park

Back in May, the fine folks at Gator sent an invitation to drive a new Evora 400 on track. I responded to what I called, "an intensely good idea." with a resounding. "RYFKM... yes thanks" or some such reply. Truly was a great idea and a great day. Not too surprising that an unconventional idea would come from an such unconventional group of enthusiasts. Highly recommend doing business with them whether it be a purchase or service.

Classic Car Service

Purchased a couple of classic cars and had them both inspected and serviced by Gator. Dan was very professional and honest in his assessment of needed repairs while keeping the cars original.

Taking the Time

I have been looking for a new/used Lotus and one of the concerns I've had was finding a reliable service dealer. The best choices I was aware of was in Chicago or St. Louis. Upon further research, I came across Gator Motors in Indianapolis as a Certified Lotus Dealer and service provider. I happened to find a Lotus I was interested in there and contacted Brian Henry, the sales manager, to see if I could check it out. Unfortunately, the Lotus had sold but my wife and I still decided to visit. Brian was very gracious and took the time to give us a complete tour of the the dealership, current inventory, service department and introduce us to all the staff. Everyone was very friendly by taking a moment to receive us and tell us of their passion for Lotus and the other brands of exotics they sell and service. I was also introduced to T.J., their certified Lotus mechanic/technician, whom I heard of worked at Fox Valley, IL, and came highly respected. Brian further gave me a thrilling test drive that I will never forget in a naturally aspirated, slightly modified, 2014 Evora as well as 214 Evora S. I greatly appreciate the welcome I received from Brian and the staff of Gator Motors and feel confident that I will obtain the guidance, professionalism, sales and service that I will come to rely on when purchasing a Lotus. Thank you very much! P.S. My wife is still talking about that that Land Rover!

Gator Motorsport

Young, the owner, and Brian, the primary sales person, were very nice and courteous, as was the rest of the staff. They had a really good selection of Evora S stick shift cars-one of the best I've found nationwide-with a good selection of desirable colors and options. My trade-in car developed some glitches I was unaware of so I had to deal lower on my trade, but all in all it was a good, fair deal and the price of the new one was excellent. I would recommend Gator Motorsport to any and all who want a new Evora to take home. This store presented the most enjoyable buying event I have had in years. Go Gators! (Till you meet the Tigers of LSU, LSU, LSU, LSU....)

Impressive Service

Recently I needed service on my vehicle. The rear brakes were creating quite a bit of noise/vibration and I had an upcoming trip I needed to make to Chicago. After reaching out to a local franchise dealer to have the vehicle looked at and serviced, I was informed that the soonest they could get me in was in 2 weeks. This wasn?t going to cut it, especially on a crucial item like brakes! After asking around, I was referred to Gator Motorsport from a friend. I gave them a call and informed them of my situation. They provided me a quote right away and were able to fit me in to the schedule to ensure my vehicle was ready for the upcoming trip. Upon picking up my vehicle, I was surprised to see that it had been thoroughly cleaned inside and out?way better than the cleaning I would do! They also informed me of items I should address to ensure my vehicle runs safely and efficiently and I appreciated that. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the facility, staff and quality of repair. Top Notch across the board. Thank you!
