Terrible communication, awful service
Had bad experiences here before, but needed airbag replaced. They said 2-3 hours. I called and called, they’d say they’d call back but wouldn’t for HOURS. The 3-hour airbag replacement has now taken 3 days. That’s too much. If they had just kept in touch, I’d have been ok, but being on standby for 2 days, waiting for calls and finally having to borrow a car was too much
Need to find a new Repair shop
Grease all over the passenger seat , SERVICE and Wait time was horrible , did not even bother to go back to show him the grease after 3 other blunders i gave up , simple inspection and oil change with tire rotation, never did the rotation , i really have to find a new place to service my Honda , Very sad , not the 1st time i have had problems there ,Tarrytown Honda
Lease Agreement was not what we had discussed
My mother was looking for a new car and after researching and finding online deals we decided on Tarrytown Honda. I went with my mother and we settled on a monthly lease payment for 12K miles a year based on the deal on their site and our trade-in. I unfortunately was unable to join her the next day for the pick up and signing and they ripped her off, by charging her the same monthly payment we agreed to the previous day but instead for 10K miles a year, which based on their deal should have been much less. They took advantage of an older woman when I was not there.
Tarrytown Honda negative review reversed.
Tarrytown Honda Dealership accomodated repairs. Reverse all negative reviews. If you are not a Mechanic I would recommend that you bring one to review any Pre-owned purchases.
Purchased a car from them almost three month ago, everybody was nice and answering the phone, but only until they got paid. After money were transferred they treat you with outright neglect. Almost three month went by, I still haven`t got plates nor title. I called them multiple times and left voicemails to every manager, however never got any response from non of them. They just hiding now realizing their fault. Immature fake people, only care about money. Don`t deal with them, there are many honest dealerships around managed by responsible adults. If something goes south in this place no one is there to take responsibility, they'll just hide, like they not there.
Sold car with locked front breaks and seeping oil pan. Salesman refused yo take ownership. Could have caused accidental deaths. Do not buy from here!!!
This place is a joke, twice my 1 year old Crv was taken in for inspection and failed on Exhaust Emission , this dealership did not know how to reset the Emission monitors, took it to Honda Nanuet, monitors were reset and inspection passed on first visit. Do yourself and you car a favour and steer clear of this dealership
Such Wonderful People
This is my 7th or 8th car with Honda. I have never leased a car from the Tarrytown dealership until today, and I will not be leasing from anyone else after today. Reggie was TOP notch. Calm, kind and explained everything every step of the way. Everyone there wonderful and it was an easy experience. How often can you say that about leasing a car? I seriously can not say enough about all of these people and the experience!
Used car purchase
I went to Tarrytown Honda to purchase a used vehicle. I worked with Luis R. and found him to be a upfront and honest gentleman. Dealing with him and the rest of the staff made a usually stressful situation very pleasant. I recommend anyone who is looking for a new a used car to check out Tarrytown Honda.
Bait and Switch
I was made aware of this dealership through the Costco Auto Program. The Costco Auto Program guarantees a no-haggling experience and one price deal so you don't have to go through the back and forth they typically comes with car buying. I was put in touch with a dealer who was able to give me a price sheet for a car I wanted via email. She quoted a great price so I set up an appointment on the weekend; mind you this dealership is 2 tolls and a 45 minute drive from home. I went through the 1.5 hour process of driving the car, picking out the colors, only to be given a price $2,000 higher than the quoted one. They knew they had no good reason and repeated "supply and demand" and "corona virus hit us all hard" which both in itself makes absolutely no sense and does not absolve them of their aberrant greed. I did not feel the need to argue this and they were stern on not selling any of the 5 vehicles in their inventory for the agreed upon price, so I simply left. It is frustrating to experience an unapologetic bait and switch like this and I would highly recommend anyone to avoid this dealership, if they were to engage in shady practices like this I am sure this will do this to you too.
