Travelled 2 hours to purchase a certified pre-owned 2016 Honda Civic from Gerry Wood Honda based on a sticker price of $15000. Ended up paying $18000 in... the end after they refused to remove a number of bogus fees for things I never wanted in the first place such as VIN etching and fabric protection. Still, despite these rather unscrupulous practices the out of the door price was average for the car and mileage. Just don't be fooled by what is essentially a made up number designed to lure you into the dealership. Anyway, I ended up purchasing the car as it seemed fine otherwise. I had test driven the car and walked around it several times before waiting for the 3 hour sales process to complete (yes prepare to be here a while) before I could drive it home. It wasn't until more than halfway through my return journey, when the sun started to set, that I noticed two large parallel scratches in an arc formation over the drivers side of the windshield. It seemed like they must have been caused by the wipers, although I had never used the wipers and the CPO process ensures that they should be like new. So it either happened between the time I test drove the vehicle and the time I left the dealership, or perhaps I just didn't notice them and they were always there. I reached out to Gerry Honda the next day and waited a day to get a response. After some back and forth I was told they could not help me at all, that it wasn't covered under warranty and that they couldn't afford a $300 replacement windshield on an $18000 purchase because of their "aggressive pricing". Remember the VIN etching and fabric protection that I asked to be removed during sales negotiation? Yes that cost over $600. Seems there's some buffer there to address the windshield. This was my first experience purchasing a used car at a dealership and sadly it lived up to most of my expectations of used car dealers. Unscrupulous fees, misleading sticker prices, and no after sales support. I'll most likely live with the scratches, but you can avoid issues like this by avoiding this dealership!

Our Sales representative, Erik Lawson, made our shopping experience pleasurable. Our decision was between 2 models and Erik was patient, as we drove different... package levels in each model. Erik was very curtious and addressed all our questions. Our finance manger, Jordan Mannano, provided all the details and was very quick in getting the process complete. Excellent experience overall.

Everyone was very friendly and nice. Our salesman (Preston) was very welcoming as was the sales manager. All seemed concerned with our comfort in offering... us water, coffee, and popcorn. They were very helpful on finding our salesman on arrival. Everything was made easy. RJ did a great job on having everything ready when we entered his office to complete all the paperwork. There was no pressure, only concern about helping us find what we were looking for, and how they could help us through the process. Thanks to all for a job well done.
