Do not buy a car here.

Do not buy a car here. I’ve made numerous new car purchases over the last 20 years, and this dealership has the most unethical finance department I’ve ever encountered. They use their little magic digital signature table for the signing process. They are adept at jumping around from screen to screen so that they can skip past extra charges they have tacked on (like thousands of dollars for an extended third-party warranty you told them numerous times you didn’t want). They wouldn’t give me a paper copy of what I was signing like I asked, claiming it was due to “computer issues” (I'm thinking it's against the law to not give a copy when asked). They never showed me the total amount going to the loan (again, this has to violate some law). Five days later, when they finally emailed me a copy of the contract, it had about $7k in extra charges. When I contacted the person who executed the deal with me, he said it was just an accident that those charges were added. They sent me paperwork to cancel the tack-ons (extended warranty for car, extended warranty for the tires, etc). Four weeks later I still have no confirmation these items have been canceled, the dealership has stopped my returning calls, and the money certainly hasn’t been deducted from loan yet. My next step will be a Consumer Protection Bureau complaint. I’m going to fix this in the end, but don’t let this happen to you. Go to another dealership.

You're hilarious. After a month of trying to resolve my problem with you, your sales manager, and your finance team, I finally had to file a complaint with the GA state Attorney General's office to get resolution. You were directly addressed or CC'd on numerous emails. Don't try this fake "I'd love to fix your problem if you'd just reach out" response online now to save face. This response is just another example of how your dealership functions dishonestly.

Horrible customer service and high pressure warranty

Horrible customer service and high pressure warranty scams. Highly recommend avoiding five star toyota. GM is also rude and lacks the capability to run a respectable dealership.

Brandon Tanner was our sales person.

Brandon Tanner was our sales person. He was extremely helpful from the test drives to the actual pick-up of our Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. Brandon was very approachable, answered all questions and even looked into a question that he was not knowledgeable on. Brandon came in to ensure the vehicle was in perfect delivery condition and that we had a great sales experience. The level of service was so unique and appreciated. He entrusted us to Tequila who walked us through all the features of the Cross which we did not expect and appreciated. Tequila also walked us through the Toyota app and connected our phones. Let me not forget to mention our finance experience with Tai Nguynen This is always the least most favorite portion of purchasing. To our surprise the process was pleasant and all questions were answered. The use of the technology used for this transaction made the process faster. We will definitely refer anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to 5 Star Toyota! GO TEAM!

They said the car was there.

They said the car was there. IT WASNT when we got there. Then they tried the old bait and switch. And Johnathan I believe his name was. Is the WORST salesman. I've ever met in my 60 years. STAY AWAY FOLKS. ALWAYS BETTER SERVICE ELSEWHERE.

Sales team was spot on Monday evening, I had talked to a couple of the sales group about a vehicle they had listed, come to find out it was at another dealership, They made sure to have said vehicle on their lot by Monday for me to come look at it. Unfortunately it just wasn't a vehicle I decided to purchase. I appreciate their effort. If you want to deal with honest people, give them a try!

Purchased a used 2013 Honda Crosstour from them back in

Purchased a used 2013 Honda Crosstour from them back in February of 2021. Still enjoying my vehicle. Salesperson Tequila did a great job of giving me a virtual tour and delivering my vehicle exactly as advertised. Will likely visit them again in the future.

Had great service while they were selling me a car.

Had great service while they were selling me a car. Bought the car, their detail people had left for the day so the GM said to have the car detailed and send them the receipt, they would pay me back. Good luck, now that I bought the car and paid to have it cleaned, they will not respond. Tells you a lot about their integrity. Make sure you get everything up front before you drive off the lot - you won’t hear from them again.

I scheduled an oil change appointment and dropped my car

I scheduled an oil change appointment and dropped my car off at the dealership. When I left the service guide on the dashboard in front of the driver so that they could validate the service. The technician did not fill out the service record or even change the "Next Service Due" reminder sticker on the windshield. I called the service department twice and left a message each time asking that the service manager return my call. I was told that the service manager was working today but this person clearly chose to ignore my call. I paid almost $100 for "Toyota Service" and have purchased three cars from this dealership. I did not know that their attention to detail and interest in their customers had evaporated. I recommend that you save almost half the money and get the top synthetic oil service at Walmart!

I have been doing business with 5 Star Toyota in Milledgeville ever since before they bought out the previous dealership owner, about 10-12 years. I wish to commend Marvin Meeks, the Parts Manager at 5 Star Toyota in Milldedgeville, Georgia. He is extremely knowledgable and helpful. He knows his inventory and available merchandise extremely well and I have found I can always trust his knowlegable recommendations. He is totally dedicated to his profession and I enjoy working with Marvin. I hope 5 Star realizes his value to your team.
