"Car buying the way it used to be!"
Was referred bt a friend and was not disappointed. They did not pressure me into anything. Was a very professional atmosphere and friendly environment.... Fast, easy and i am very happy with my purchase.
I had seen the car I wanted on the Carolina Family Motors website. Took it for a test drive and decided that I wanted it. Tom brought the car out for... me to take a test drive and I was sold on it. Tom also helped me throughout the sales process and was very polite and helpful. It took less than 3 hours for me to own a beautiful Mercedes.
I love my 2004 Mustang Convertible! Really nice staff and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Had one small issue right... after I bought the car and Brian took care of it right away.
I bought a 2016 Toyota Corolla from Carolina Family Motors and they gave a carfax report that has no accident reported on it. When I tried to sell the... car to Toyota Dealer, that is when I came to know that the entire car was painted and the front hood was replaced which neither showed up on the Carfax report nor was communicated to me when I was buying the car from them. When I tried checking with them, the answer they gave was flabbergasting. They said they do not have control on these things which is hard for me to digest. Wouldn't the dealer know that it has been painted and hood was replaced (all you need to do is open the hood and check if it has Toyota's name on it). I understand if a customer like me would't know its hard to beleive that the dealer also doesn't know. So I leave it upto you guys on whether you want to buy cars with a dealer who says he has no knowledge on these things and who denies on having any information on the accident. Its not a small accident to not know it. So guys, beware ! You might also be getting cars with problems like these for which you have to end up paying thousands of bucks in fixing them after you buy it from Carolina family Motors.
Purchased a 2014 Ford Escape from this CFM, which is approx an hr's drive from my home. It is a smaller dealership with a personal touch. Sales, finance... and service worked with me every step of the way on this transaction. Before I drove off with my newly purchased car, they made 1 request: Should I have any problems, please give them an opportunity to make things right. As fate would have it, an unforseen problem did arise shortly thereafter. But true to their word, the problem was promptly resolved without issue. Having a satisfied customer when all goes perfectly with a transaction is great. But IMO, having one satisfied even when something goes wrong is more impressive.
I am shopping for a used car and understand that used cars can have defects. I called and talked to Jeremy on two occasions about a Nissan Versa Note.... I explained to him that I was going to be traveling about 3 hours to get to him and that I really wanted to know about the vehicle before I drove that far. He said he would go out to the vehicle and look at it while ask my questions about it. I asked him if it had any noticeable scratches or dings. He said he walked around the vehicle and said that it did not have any. I asked him if it had any spots , stains, or signs of pets inside of the vehicle. He told me that it did not have any that he could see and that it was a very clean vehicle. I drove three hours to get it and when I arrived I found the following things: (1) the car had several minor scratches but were not deal breakers. (2) the car had a white stain about the size of my hand in the drivers seat. (3) there was a hole in the carpet in the driver's side floor. (4) the seats were covered in small white hair that appeared to be pet hair (5) the front drivers finder was bent out and had some pieces broke and the small mud flap was even missing. When I confronted Jeremy with these issues, he told me that these are just things you should expect when buying a used car and that I probably should be looking for a new one. These might be things you expect to find on a used car unless the salesman you spoke with over the phone (Jeremy)told you that they were no spots, no scratches, no dings, and no stains. After receiving this information, I expect to fine a very nice car in top notch condition., not what I found. Buyers beware, what you are told over the phone may very well not be what you find when you arrive. Needless to say, I did not buy the vehicle.
Brian and Brian were excellent to work with and my husband and I got a great deal on a great car! I recommend Carolina Family Motors to anyone looking... for a great deal on a vehicle!
We bought a 2013 VW Routan from the team at Carolina family motors and have never been happier. We have only one problem the car started to overheat, we... brought it in for service under warranty and walked out with a loaner and a week later our car was in perfect shape again. I can't tell you how nice it is that they stood behind their sale and we were so well taken care of.
This place is wonderful and the man that helped me was even nicer! I didn't actually end up getting a car but I found out some great information! When... I'm ready to pull the bullet and get a car I know where to go!
My name is Gordon from Laurel, Maryland and I purchased a 1998 corvette LS2 from Caroline Family Motors. I viewed about 20 different car photos online... until I found one that caught my eye. At this time I called and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Brian Lee. I learned he was the owner of CFM. He explained to me in detail everything about the car. He also said the car, in his opinion ,was a Five Star rating. While speaking to him, I told Brian that I wanted to purchase that corvette and have the car shipped to me. He told me Not to have the car shipped but rather make arrangements to get to the dealership. He was so confident that I would like the car that he said they would pay for me to fly there. He actually guaranteed that I would like that corvette. Long story short.....I rented a car and drove 440 miles to purchase that car! I also talked to the salesman, Bryan Brinson, and met him as well. He also explained various details to me . And he reinforced the fact that I was getting a good deal. In all my years of purchasing new and used cars, I have never dealt with such honest and trustworthy business people. Another salesman that I feel worthy of mentioning is Tom. After seeing the car "in person", I could say the car was everything and more than my initial online impression. The financial manager, Kevin, was an outstanding professional. He made me feel like "family"!! From A to Z, everyone I dealt with @ Caroline Family Motors stood out in my mind. The detail job prior to me driving out was superb also. I would say without a doubt that this dealership is honest and trustworthy. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends and family looking to purchase cars . I have had my car over one month now. The car runs EXCELLENT and still looks AWESOME!!!
