Ken was a big help! Great place and the cars look even better in person funny enough. They don't seem to deal in junk.

Requested additional pictures of the truck twice and I never received them,makes me think they are hiding something.

Purchased a car with cash, was told they would fix all leaks and check engine light, brought the car back there 3 times to fix the same problem. all they did was complain about what work they did on the car even thou they never fixed it. They told me not to come back and they were losing money. it turned out the head gasket was bad, they told me to trade it in to another dealership for another car and not to come back there. If you purchase a car from there, make sure you fully have it checked out and have them list everything they say they will fix. Once you leave the lot it is very hard and time consuming to get them to do anything.

Preferred motor cars of nj was an excellent place to buy a used car, I came all the way from Pennsylvania and found a great car that I love. The customer service was great and I'm in love with my car. So glad I found this place. I recommend coming here if you want a great car for a good deal.

My son purchased a car from John and has had this car for more than 3 years now. When he purchased this car John made my son promises and kept everyone. this dealership is the greatest. I have purchased many cars in my lifetime and Perferred was the best place ever to purchase a car from. As a father who is very protective of his children John the owner was upfront and honest to me and my son.

As a fleet manager I went to JP to see if he wanted to buy some assets my company wanted to move quickly. As we went through the process, it was so easy to deal with all the people there, I ended up buying a car from them as well. quick, easy and very honest. CJ

Went in to look at a vehicle on a Saturday and liked it and decided to buy. Dealer told me a price and I told them I wanted it for that price including tax, title, and tags. They counter offered and we split the difference. Paid them CASH including the sales tax. They issued me a temporary registration and temporary tag. The last thing they said before I left was that my tags would be mailed to me by the end of the week. The week went by and no tags. The following Monday, still no tags so I called and asked if they had mailed them. They said no because MVC doesn't have a dealer window anymore and they had to stand in line like everyone else (which is true). They said they sent over a packet to them that day. I told them my insurance company was asking to see a copy of the title to prove it wasn't financed. Tuesday they call me and tell me the title was mailed out that day. Wednesday I get the title with no tags and the title is still in the dealer's name. I call again to ask about the title and tags and they tell me that there was no agreement for title or tags and that I got a good price regardless ( I paid $600 over KBB value). We argued and I told them I was going to write review and they said "would I really do that for such a small amount of money?". So I had to go to MVC and do it myself, and pay the title transfer fee, as well as the new registration fee. Coincidentally these additional fees drove the price of the vehicle back up to the dealer's original counter offer. There are lots cars and lots of other dealers out there I'd suggest you go to one of those and not this place. I bought the vehicle on 3/11 and as of 3/23 they're still advertising it for sale.

This is one of the most stand up dealerships in the country. Dont believe me? Respond here and I will contact you directly. Its not just getting a good deal, its knowing this place stands behind their product and knows what cars to sell. I am from New Jersey and moved around the country due to work. I shopped around all the dealerships whenever I needed a car, and Preferred Auto Always had a better value. Also, with the new warrantys, you can just goto any dealership in the usa. I tell everyone I know to buy from them. Ask for Jack or John.
