Best car buying experience in 30 years
Helpful and responsive salespeople and management. Finance manager also a pleasure to work with! I would not hesitate to buy another car from them. Store and facilities were clean and comfortable.

!st Oil Change and Inspection
Needed her first oil change and inspection. Service writer explained everything they were going to do and if had any problems since we bought the car. Waited in waiting room and looked around at the 2018's. Repair was quickly done and everything was explained to me. It was a pleasure doing business with Brilliance Subaru from the purchase until now. Glad I found this dealership.

Unfortunate Engine Repair - Great Service!
Disappointed that my 2015 Subaru Outback with 30,000 miles had a mechanical issue. I arrived at 11:15 and the service area was very busy. I was quite please that they had the engine problem diagnosed and repaired in an hour. I thought I would be stuck there all afternoon. Great job as usual by Brilliance Subaru.

Ed Troike Rocks Sales
My first impression of Brilliance Subaru was extremely positive thanks to Rich Dencs in service. His customer focused attitude helped me to want to buy a Subaru from Brilliance in Elgin. We really enjoyed our experience working with Ed Troike to select the best Forester for our family needs. Ed's ability to communicate very effectively, build trust and confidence were key factors in our buying decision.

Memorable & enjoyable!
I initially arrived at Brilliance Subaru extremely annoyed by the overall sales process with no intention of making a purchase; however, that all changed when my family and I were greeted by Ed Troike. He was able to answer all my first-time-buyer questions and concerns in an honest, comedic manner that made the entire experience memorable and most importantly enjoyable!

Rude Salesman
Came into brilliance Subaru looking into buying a new car they had in stock. I mean 4.8/5 stars, seems like a great place to stop by even if ur not buying a car. We had called in earlier to talk to the salesman Kevin about the availability and told him we would come in later that day. In the beginning Kevin was very kind and greeted us well. Things then started to bad after that. Once we started discussing the price things got very confusing. AND I MEAN VERY CONFUSING. Kevin talked to his general manager and returned to us with a bunch of numbers scribbled all over a blank sheet of paper literally written in every angle possible. We were still very interested in buying the car at this point but didn't know what the exact price of the car was!!! We then requested Kevin to print out a price quote so that we could see all the number organized properly and not a mess of number written with a highlighter. Kevin then proceeded to say, "If I go print this paper, can you guarantee me you will buy this car?" Buy this time we knew that we were being forced and pressurized into buying the car. Being pressured and confused at the same time... doesn't really go well in any situation. We were still very VERY confused on the price of the car. The price we thought we were paying for the car was written big and in the center of the page. Then there were all these tiny other numbers scattered in which Kevin kept going on and on. All we wanted to know was the final price printed on a nice organized sheet of paper, and we couldn't even get that. Finally at the end, Kevin picked up his sheet of paper said "y'all have a good night" and walked away from our table. We were standing there in the middle of the dealership just looking at each other like "what". We didn't know what to do so we just walked out I guess. We didn't feel comfortable at all and almost felt shamed by Kevin to just leave us there and walk away. Yes the price of the car was a little out of our budget but we were still interested and willing to negotiate as much as we could. But us just standing there alone in the middle of the dealership with the other Salesman and managers looking at us, we were just shocked. This is not how you treat customers in any sort of business. I know brilliance Subaru must be a great branch of Subaru this Kevin Salesman pressures you too much and is rude.

Great buying experience
I've been looking for a second car to buy for more than 2 years. I've been to many dealerships around the area and Wisconsin. I did not like the meeting with the sales persons at all until I met Ed Troike at Brilliance. He was very knowledgeable about the car and the eyesight system and above all, he never had one negative answer. If I would need to buy a car again I will definitely look for Ed Troike again. He also made himself available even after the car purchase if I had any other questions. Great job Ed!!
