Wow! words can not describe how much pleasure I had to meet such great people such has Michael Leatherwood, Eric Garcia and Jason Volk men this 3 gentleman... really when above and beyond. Mr. Leatherwood gave me some great advises, really nice person very serviceable, such a great spirit always with a great attitude this gentleman really makes Five Star Chevrolet SHINE you folks are Bless to have this Gentleman around. Eric Garcia wow such a great sales person the moment I shook his hand I knew I was with a good co-pilot. Very respective individual does not try to push the sale, very honest guy I want to mention that the close day he was off he had giving me his cell number and told me "I'm off tomorrow if you need me for anything please call me" so came Wednesday I decided to make the deal so call him and that was his off day but he told me to go inside and someone would help me but of course he was the one that had been helping me so I ask him ...can you come and close this for me.. and he came and took care of business for me. So this car was for my Wife, April is double celebration her birthday and our anniversary, 12 years of an awesome marriage. I did my homework shop around and went to my bank for a load well even-doe I was approve it was not for the amount I was looking for so I took that approval and a check cause I had decided to give this to my lovely wife so came Jason. He heard my conversation and told me ... give me a second let me make a couple of calls I'm gonna work on a better deal for you, we discuss the interest and payment per month and this Gentleman got me a super deal.. ZERO DOWN a better interest than what my bank approve me for WOW!! I was like ... really Jason :) unbelievable this Gentleman did it..I surprise my Wife with her new Tahoe 2018 Premier Guys really this 3 individuals really show me that I was not just another customer they really show me that I was a friend. I live an hour and couple minutes away from this dealership, and I’ve used cars.com to compare and find the good deals on cars I seen one from five star... and decided I’ll give them a chance, I looked and looked at the vehicle pictures multiple times to make sure this was this SUV I wanted. And I finally applied, had a chick name Gabriela call me and of course ask for my information and told me she’ll get back to me so of course I waited and then another person Lloyd called and we talked, and I gave them more information like how much down, my co signer. And that was probably the last time I talked to Lloyd, after that it started getting out of hand. Because I had like 2 to 3 different managers calling me, and telling me the same thing or re asking me the same questions. And they would never update me, I think I honestly called them more then they called me and more then half the time it was someone different, I guess because I wasn’t going to put enough money “ downpayment “ in their pocket. They didn’t care for my car buying. Cause I literally dealt with them ALL DAY while at work. And then the Gabriela chick calls me and ask if I’m not going up there, my response was of course no it’s an hour away and I’m pregnant I’m not gonna waste my time when y’all haven’t even kept me updated nor told me anything important and when I asked her, she had a bit of a attitude “ well I don’t know what’s going on “ well you were the first person I talked to about my application, you would think IF they want a sale they would be able to tell you. So here I am trynna figure out which manager I talked to last, and finally we got off the phone. I decided I was gonna stay home and not waste my time going up there till tomorrow, and while I’m out eating a manager calls me I think his name is jason, sorry if I’m mistaken. tells me “ oh everything looks good, you and your co signer should be good. “ we were on the phone for a couple of minutes and then he ask me if I could come up there tomorrow to do paper work, test drive the car and etc. So I agree, ONLY because he made everything sound like a done deal. WELP I was wrong, the next morning. Me and my co signer ( my uncle ) head out about 8:30ish am to get there about 9:30ish am, as I’m more then half way there, I guess another manager who I haven’t spoken too, tells me they’re starting the process and they noticed something about my co signer pay and I’m thinking wait a minute. So I stop him and told him “ I was told everything was good, we just needed to come look at the car and sign “ and he asked who has told me this information, and I informed him. So he tells me to hold on he’ll call me back. Even though I’m already 20 minutes away, and he calls back and says well can do it but for $1000 more down, and then tells me “ we don’t want to waste your time, since you live an hour away “ . Y’all I was so pissed, I took the first exit I could to turn around. They had ALL DAY the day before to look over our applications and keep us updated, and instead they didn’t, and waited till a couple minutes before they closed to call me and tell me everything was good. It’s so sad they I couldn’t get the car I wanted, cause they weren’t professional enough about the situation. I was told to deal with dealerships outside of where I live cause they work With you better, and I was willing to drive there IF they did work with me. There is a reason why I did all the application process over the phone, so that I know what I am looking at BEFORE I go. So yep...my time was wasted with them.
Good evening Abbygail, I was very disappointed to hear about your recent experience dealing with our store associates. I understand how frustrated y...ou could be and feel we had not done everything possible for you. Unfortunately, when even our best customers have certain financial situations we are unable to get the deal done without additional down payment. These decisions are ALWAYS made by the bank, not us here at the store. We never say no to a person wanting to purchase a new or used vehicle. If a person comes in with cash or is able to write a check we need no one's approval. However, when a person is looking to finance a new or used vehicle we still say yes to everyone but the final approval has to come from the financial institution or "the bank". There are also situations where one car can not be financed and another can. There are many variables involved and a little more complicated than it may appear. I hope you were able to purchase a vehicle that met your needs and budget but if not, please keep us in mind. We will do everything possible to get you in a car, truck, or SUV that you would be proud to drive and be seen in.
