I have a 2006 JCW and it's been a really GREAT car, but it's also been a money pit. I LOVE my car and have dropped a bunch into mods and maintenance. I... went to several "MINI specialists" in the area and always seemed to have to go back to the dealer to get what they did fixed, so now I just go to the dealer. Their service crew is Top Notch! They are trained and don't think of our cars as just "nuts and bolts". They understand that for many of us our car is part of the family and treat it accordingly. The service area, like the showroom, is spotless and everybody is friendly and knowledgeable. Their equipment is top of the line, state of the art!! Parker even sends their high end cars there for alignment (I once saw a Lamborghini in for alignment and tires!)! Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but if you have to have something done twice to correct another company's mistake, then you are bucks up! The big plus is that they also warrantee their work. If anything they fix goes out within 2 years, parts and labor is free! I've used this several times on motor mounts and a couple of times on other stuff and it has saved me big bucks. All in all, the BEST PLACE TO HAVE YOUR MINI SERVICED, no doubt!!
Inquired about a Mini online. They were efficient and contacted me immediately. Unfortunately, the Cooper I inquired about didn't have the features that... I wanted, so I passed on it.
They would not put in my portable gps for my mini that is made by mini for mini . But I called another mini dealer they said sure no problem so my next... mini will not be bought here for sure
I have always wanted a MINI... After looking extensively online for one that I wanted, I narrowed my search down to MINI of LR and a dealer in Dallas TX.... I sold myself on the convenience of MINI of LR due to the proximity of the dealership to my house even though the dealer in Dallas was less expensive. The buying experience was outstanding. The facilities are amazing. The sales staff is exceptionally polite... Unfortunately the service and work from their group is terrible. After buying the car, I had them install a Nav system and upgrade the radio to XM. I am still asking why... I have had the car in 3 different times, in less than 2 months, to get the Radio and Nav system working. The install created rattles behind the dash, the NAV system shuts off and on, the radio would loose signal... The car is currently in the shop... I would recommend the dealer for a purchase, but the service, so far, is not so good.
I went to the dealership with a few vehicles in mind and decided the Cooper Hardtop S was the best fit for me. The salesman, Brett, took me out for a test... drive and I decided to purchase about two weeks later. He was not pushy with anything throughout the process. He recommended the road hazard protection plan for the tires. Not even 24 hours after purchasing the vehicle, I hit a metal object in the road and damaged a tire. I had a meeting the following morning and was not going to be able to take my car in to have the tire replaced. A friend of mine said he could take it in to the dealership. Service was very friendly and gave him a loaner car to use while my tire was replaced. I was contacted by the service department as well as my salesman shortly after the service was performed to make sure everything went well. I would highly recommend Parker Mini to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle.
