Avoid Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram of Lawrenceburg at all
Avoid Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram of Lawrenceburg at all costs. Our experience buying a BMW from them was a nightmare, especially with the trade-in process. We traded in a BMW in excellent condition, and although the initial sales process seemed smooth, the problems started post-sale. Despite being assured multiple times that our trade-in would be promptly paid off, it wasn't. We completed the transaction on 09/19/24, but by 10/01/24, our trade-in still hadn't been settled. When we contacted the dealership, we were given the excuse of a funeral delaying the check signing. This lack of urgency continued, and as the next payment due date of 10/15/24 approached, the issue remained unresolved. Numerous calls went unanswered, and when we finally got through, we were put on hold for over an hour, only to be hung up on repeatedly. Frustrated, we filed a complaint with the BBB, hoping that would prompt a response. Instead, we were contacted by our bank on 10/25/24 about our now overdue payment and late fees. After a lengthy call with the bank explaining the situation, we were advised to make the payment ourselves. Further attempts to resolve the issue with the dealership led us to finally speak with Amy Huffman, who claimed she was never informed of our calls. She promised to address the payoff issue, but the damage was done. The entire ordeal was a massive inconvenience and a threat to our credit. Spare yourself the frustration and choose a different dealership if you value your time and credit score.
