After leasing a Hyundai from Penninsula I was told I could return it early with no penalties if I were to purchase it or buy something else. I had just... made the payment and owed 2 more on the lease. I decided to purchase a newer Hyundai. I was very happy with my salesman. The next day I realized Hyundai didn’t pick up the pay forward plan on the lease I turned in. I called Chris in finance and he said he had noticed that, and would get back to me. I also asked if I could get the payment refunded I had just made on the lease car. I called 12 times in the next couple of weeks leaving messages for Chris and Joe the manager. Neither got back to me. I was so stressed and frustrated not knowing if I was going to be responsible for making the car payment on both cars. I finally called the salesman who I appreciate so much. He followed up on the agreement we had made. It took close to 2 more weeks after I left more unanswered messages to Chris and Joe. I finally got a check for the 2 remaining payments on the lease car. I’m not sure why Hyundai didn’t pay the finance company themselves. I did not get a refund for the payment I made a few days prior to buying the new car. I like my new car, and very thankful for the great salesman, but I will not buy another car at Penninsula. I have never had such horrible customer service after purchasing from a company.

Why I bought Hyundai? My car is still under warranty and they sold me extra warranty (american warranty) as well and Hyundai don't care about the customer... service of these worse dealership. The"My Hyundai" account on Hyundai website don't accept this branch to make online appointment any more. I went there Friday morning to see what is wrong and how can I make appointment. The service adviser(Marvin Poole) told me that you have to make appointment with their website and he find my information and start to make appointment. He told me that Wednesday morning is available. He asked me that I need ride and I told him "YES". Then I came back Wednesday at 8:30 am. I gave him the key and he asked me again that I need ride and I told him YES and I mention it that I need the car at 11 am. The other guy named Luis gave me ride to my work and I told him that see you at 11 am and explain it that I have to be in Salinas at 12 PM can you pick up me when the car is ready even before 11 am and he told me YES if I was in break my colleague pick up you do't worry. Actually, I was worry because last two times they didn't pick up me and Mr Poole make some excuse and I just forget it. Any way, it was 11:30 and I was in the class and asked my wife to call them to see whats going on and why they didn't call me. Mr Marvin Poole took the phone and told my wife that he didn't asked for ride back !!! and we don't have driver because they are in break until 1 PM. This is extra charge for you because you selected bad dealer or may be bought bad car. Why I bought Hyundai!? He was lying and finally he told me that their manger (boss) don't want to give this service to the customers any more!. So if you don't want why you don't tell me in the beginning I can decide and go somewhere else not after you got the car and the for pick up time you remember that your manager or boss don't like to give this service to customers. I'm not recommend them to anyone because they are lying (Marvin Poole) and I can't trust them. That was really jock because we don't have any option to select or tell ride and ride back. He didn't asked me any thing about ride back and I had very clear conversation with the driver(I don't know about their website because he made the appointment). Another thing is that he told me two of my car tire need to replace and he gave me $120 for each tire plus $120 for alignment plus service. when I check the price of the items I saw that the same tire online with free shipping is $79 each and really I can't trust them at all for any service that they did. I'm really not sure that they really replace cabin and car air filter or not because they lying without any worries. Thanks
A very relaxed experience with great customer service.I would recommend to all my friends with-out hesitateing.Also the coffgreat.It’s all about thumbs... up.�� I am impressed.

Sales person was ok but timely communication was very poor. I was told I'd have answers in about 20 minutes and it would be 40. My wife and I then went... shopping when we were told it would take additional time. I called and was told they were waiting for an answer from another dealership and they said they would call them again. I said let me know one way or another in 3 minutes. After 45 more minutes of no contact we went home. I felt like a low priority. We bought from another dealership and saved over $900.
Jeff was super laid back and knowledgable of the Tucson. He was able to answer all my questions without me even asking them. I would come back and recommend... him and the staff to anyone. I have never felt more welcome at a car dealership than here at Hyundai Peninsula.
