I special ordered a Toyota forerunner for my son and it was the only one in the US and they sold it from under me and treated me like I was stupid and never told me they had sold it they are a bunch of lying idiots

Martinez guided me to the right Toyota Corolla to test drive, to Alan McKinsey describing the deal, to Robert Valencia and Devin Monk who made paperwork easy and most of all Sales Manager Lee Roybal made sure it was the deal I was satisfied with. Toyota of Santa Fe
I just bought a brand new Camry yesterday that I had been trying to negotiate the best deal on between Toyota of Santa Fe and another Toyota dealership. Toyota of Santa Fe kept coming back with the best price, including the last one, which might have even been a mistake, but the sales department HONORED THAT PRICE QUOTE. Even though they didn't have to. This was absolutely THE BEST EXPERIENCE I ever had buying a new car, with straightforward, honorable car salesmen. And a REALLY great deal!
I went to the dealership and didn't see anything in my price range and as I was leaving a salesman approach and offered assistance. I told him $10,000. and he found a truck in the service department within my budget. We test drove the truck and it was clean with plenty of power just not the right one for me. Very helpful and willing to go out of there way to check back to see if I was still in the market.
1. lost the car by the time i get there for a test drive. I called ahead to let them know i was on my way. 2. salesmen only started 3 days ago did'nt know much abut the car . not their fault. 3. only when asked for a card the big guns came out. A little to late then.
Good but Not Great
I first contacted Toyota of Santa Fe via Cars.com and received a quick response. However, the salesman who sent the initial message ignored my subsequent emails. I reached out to the dealership's manager and communication improved. I had expected to dicker on the price but, after the initial discount, the dealership refused to lower the price any further. Nevertheless, the price was still good, so I decided to proceed with the purchase. The salesman, manager, and other staff were friendly. Overall, I had a good experience. Aside from the initial unresponsiveness, my only two complaints are: 1) there was undisclosed damage which I noticed when I visited the dealership (about 135 miles from home), and 2) the final amount charged was higher than the sales quote. The dealership did fix most of the damage and delivered the vehicle four days later. Two small chips in the hood and a small crack in a headlight lens remained. The amount overcharged was small and, because I failed to notice it at the time (my wife wrote the check), I figured pursuing a refund would be futile.

If you dread being schmoozed by the desperate sort that haunt dealerships, who seem to be on the verge of peeing themselves, skip it all and go to Toyota of Santa Fe. Refreshing with a lively staff, Brent Buell handled my agonizing insecurities, and snobbish requirements with grace and dignity. I observed how he listened to me and responded to my questions, concerns, hyper vigilance over details and then as I zoned out near the end of the process he retained a professionalism that continued to build my confidence. This has created loyalty for me that will be life long. The honorable mention goes to the financier Sandra Navaro. She was personable with excellent communication skills. I look forward to my future maintenance with Toyota of Santa Fe, and will be in support of this team in my town. Thank you Thank you Thank you
